It gives a person stability in a world where everything seems to be continually changing. Identity is not only what others view you as being but also how you view yourself as being. The tradition in my tribe has shaped who I am. My parents too, taught me many things just by raising me. The moral values that they taught me I will always remember.
Values My personal values provide a reference for what is good, beneficial, useful, important and constructive to my family. Some values generate my behavior and helps me with family problems or issues and also with how I wish to raise my children today. Over time, I have found it to be very important in my day-to-day life. It helps me lay a foundation down of tradition, custom and family values. Values are what you want and need to achieve the goals you set for yourself and your family.
As it may be difficult to discover our true identity, it jeopardises our ability to find a sense of belonging, because we are weary from our previous unpleasant experiences. Our closest connection ever since we were children, would be our parents, their teachings, traditions and values ultimately forms our beliefs when we’re still developing and learning. During this period of time, we strive to live by our parents’ rules and morals, and that’s not only because we respect them, but we’re still trying to find our own identity. Over the time as we grow up, as we immerse ourselves with different kinds of people during our time in high school, and thus we start to gain experience through different kinds of relationships. On this journey towards adulthood, to find our identity we could start to value different things in our lives as opposed to what we were taught by our parents.
National Honor Society By: Aleesta Clodfelter National Honor Society is having the characteristics of leadership, character, and service. I think that National Honor Society is the right thing for me because my parents have instilled in me a sense of responsibility and the care for others. This is such a formidable opportunity itself to be involved in due to the dedication of helping and caring for others, and being associated with multitudes of non- profit organizations. Leadership plays a huge role. I’ve always tried to show more of an independent role as a student, and help others who don’t quite understand the things that I do.
My family also taught me things like riding a bike, cooking, doing well in school, and just having a passion for something. I will not say that it is impossible to make it in life without having people in your corner but life is so much easier when you have a good support system around you. The affect this microsystem, family, has had on my life has been one of great magnitude and volume in that it was the foundation to who I am, and it continues to have an effect on my actions and thought today. Throughout our lives we have a plethora of people who come in our lives and make an impression on our growth and development. Three groups of people who have been the most important and influential in my life are my family, my friends, and my fraternity brothers.
From a very young age I have aspired to become a teacher or hold a managerial role within childcare. To think that the well-being, learning and development of a child relies upon my colleagues and I is a challenging yet exciting prospect and something which I am very passionate about pursuing. Gaining the qualification that this course provides will help me to further develop and pursue my career in childcare by not only aiding my understanding of how young children learn and develop, but also how to manage and work alongside staff effectively to achieve our goals. I am an enthusiastic learner and strive to extend my knowledge of how children grow and develop. The passion and motivation I feel for children and their development has driven me to gain as much work experience as I can, to enable me to expand my knowledge and further progress my childcare skills.
Legislation and Policies are respectful of individuals needs and differences. Also, gives reassurance to their families that everything possible is being done to allow their loved ones to live their lives fully, where they have the right to be full members of society in which they live, choose where they live, what they do and to be as independent as they possibly can be. Outcome 2 1 A learning disability affects the ability to understand new or complex information, to learn new skills and how they communicate. “If there is no struggle there is no progress,” these words spoken by Fredrick Douglas, reflect the essence of my families’ motivation to stay strong and always peruse a better life. This quote is especially significant to me because it reflects my drive and passion to achieve my own dreams in life. My parents played a major role in inspiring me to help other people, and to work hard to achieve my goals; they thought me by example. I realized that I have been blessed to have the parents that I do. I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others.
We must value our parent hardships in order for us to grow healthy and have an education. We must take now the opportunity saying I Love You to our parents before we regret in the end. I finally realized that FAMILY is more important than any other thing. It is the most precious thing that we will have in our life. I conclude that the greatest happiness are family happiness.
