Different people adjust to different strategies. Most people adjust to more than one strategy. We just need to identify which ones through assessment. How the Awareness of Learning Strategies Influence Teaching and Learning It is important for teachers to understand what a student is going through in their process of learning new information. If you know the learning style of the student, it is easier to convey the message you are trying to convey.
This would be best covered within the second half of the course of study as they should have become familiar with using the action plan and reflecting on own progress. M2 requires learners to analyse the importance of attaining targets they have set themselves within their action plan. Learners should discuss how working towards the targets identified within their action plan has impacted positively on their performance/ development, or perhaps identify where the targets were unachievable and required changing to ensure progression. D1 requires learners to evaluate the changes made in response to ongoing reflection, giving thought to how the targets and goals have had a positive impact on personal development and considering reasons why, when changes have not impacted positively; therefore this information could follow on from learners’ evidence when completing M2. This assignment should be added to the learners PDP’s.
There are a few goals that I hope to achieve before leaving Manchester. The first one is to know more about my content, mainly the vocabulary and speaking skills. The vocabulary review games were as much as a review for the students as they were for me. Grant it, they were learning objects in the classroom, such as a pencil sharpener and a computer screen, which aren’t stressed too much in speaking. If I want to teach a topic, I should try to learn as much as I can about it and never stop learning Spanish, this is also one of my goals.
A learning support practitioner will also be required to provide the teacher with feedback of the activity and the child's performance , so the practitioners should arrange with the teacher beforehand how they should be providing the feedback. During the delivery of an activity, practitioners should be setting clear expectation and instructions. They may recognise that children are struggling or not understanding what they are asking them to do ; if this is the case practitioners should modify their delivery or the activity itself , in order for every child to take part. During the activity practitioners should be monitoring and observing in order to provide the teacher with feedback. A learning support practitioner will also contribute towards the

The middle school students increased their abilities to locate main ideas when challenged with exercises in the lesson cycle. The lesson cycle was effective because it gave students practice with text structures, signal words, and graphic organizers (Montelongo, Herter, Ansaldo, & Hatter, 2010). The students also confirmed their comprehension through the correct rewriting of the given text. The authors conclude the study by acknowledging that further study is needed in order to evaluate the quality of expository writing and its effectiveness on comprehension. There are seven obstacles that hinder goal achievement. First, an unclear goal can prevent someone from achieving results. If the subordinates don’t understand what is expected, they cannot attain satisfactory results (Martin, 2009). For example, a teacher who tells her students to complete an essay assignment, but doesn’t state that the assignments goal is paragraph structure; won’t receive many submissions with proper paragraph development. Second, unclear directions can also stunt a projects turnout (Northouse, 2012).

Students should not be given grades and diplomas if they did not learn the necessary information and earn the grade. In this essay I will respond on how I agree with Mary Sherry in “In Praise of the F Word “on how students are hurt later in life First, if student doesn’t learn necessary information in high school he or she will not be able or having a lot off trouble in the after life with college or there new job. In example, if a student gets by in his English class not caring and not trying to learn, but his teacher likes the student so he passed him, when that student goes to college he will have trouble because he doesn’t know how to write a correct essay because he was given the grade.

If I mislead someone because I did not communicate with him or her in the proper way will cause a problem. In chapter three of our textbook gives us a list of ways to improve our communication skills. One way to improve your communication skills was to first to work on your self-awareness. I have always been one to look at the things and the world around me with an open mind. I am look forward to learning more about communication skills in this class.
