Other aspects of product are economic- customer value, functional- service at the point of sales, before sales and after the sales and the psychological aspect of the product like image of the product. Kudler Fine Foods is a gourmet ingredients shop and offers in-store parties and now going in to catering business. It is managed by Kathy Kudler. So customers know that it is going to be gourmet food experience because she notices some of the people at the catering places are regular customers at her stores. KFF should research the market to find the needs of the customers.
There are several different individuals who dine here such as actors, actresses, media, business men and women, large families, and couples. They literally cater to all types of individuals making everyone comfortable and not one more then the next. I would love to work at this restaurant because they work as a family and team. The work ethics each employee puts into their job exudes as they walk around very confident about this establishment and job performed. There are several different positions in this hospitality industry that if accomplished successfully by each worker helps the customer enjoy their dining experience.
Elements of a Service Culture | | | I have chosen Publix, K-Mart and Hair Cuttery for my discussion regarding Elements of a Service Culture. My reasons for choosing these three businesses vary. I truly enjoy shopping at Publix and have many instances of shopping there. K-Mart is a business I am very familiar with as well, although my experiences have been both good and bad. Hair Cuttery was chosen for two reasons; I used to work there many years ago and just recently visited them again with my children and was interested to see that not much has changed in 20 years.
The message will be that Kona-Q is a convenient, healthy fast-casual alternative restaurant. Kona-Q will employ several marketing outlets: • Print media advertising: The Willamette Week, a weekly entertainment guide. Similar weekly entertainment guides will be used with expansion to different cities. • Flyers: Passed around to local businesses with coupons attached to introduce the community to Kona-Q and creating an economic incentive to try it. • Entertainment book coupons: Presented within the first eight months of entering a market.
Additionally, the website should be immediately upgraded with e- commerce capabilities and an extensive catering service section. Many consumers will visit the site on a whim and find out that their favorite store can provide food for their events. No matter the scale of their function, each package should be described at the website. This will enable the customer to feel connected to the company, both at the store and home. Mrs. Kudler recognizes the importance of word of mouth promotion, which re-enforces the idea of in store gatherings and cooking classes.
Date: October 17, 2009 To: Charlotte Alexander/ Founder and Owner of DigiFast From: Jessica Proctor/ Project Manager JP Subject: The Advantages of Bringing a new Café in the building. This Memo presents the qualities of a new café in our building. Based on the current standing of our break room, I propose that we bring a new and enticing form of how employees enjoy their lunch, envision to yourself a place called DigiFast Café. The greatest advantage to DigiFast is that overall employee productivity would increase indefinitely. One reason is the fact that employees can enjoy their lunch, while finishing those last minute details on a major project, right here in the café.
From the cake, to the dress, to learning how to dance, both weddings and Quinceaneras take a long time to prepare. Most of the preparations are done where the family puts forth the money while friends organize and coordinate the party. Each celebration has a number of participants also known as the damas or bridesmaids. This court of people is there to help and support their friends through this oncoming journey. The cake, usually great in size and color, is topped by a figure of the person whom is being celebrated.
The customers can be classified into two kinds: the long-standing customers like residents and faculties, and temporary customers like students and visitors. In September 2009, Tim Hortons will open up its first store in the West Mall Complex (WMX) of SFU, replacing Raven's Cafe and Chartwells. Tim Hortons is a fast-serve coffee franchise that serves coffee, espresso products, cold beverages, sweets such as donuts, and breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The company’s quality products, combined with a strong reputation for service and reliability, allow them to attract and maintain a large and loyal customer base nationwide. Although Tim Hortons and Renaissance Coffee operate in different segments of the coffee market, and differ strongly from atmosphere and business structure, to product quality and product pricing, Renaissance's sales level may still be strongly affected by this opening.
The food, while made to order, never seems to take that long. They allow you just enough time to munch on your appetizer and start in on dinner time conversation before the main attraction arrives. The heat can be felt coming off the piping hot plates. As it passes by the nose of the consumer their nostrils are filled with the scent of beans and rice, bubbling melted cheese, and their chosen main dish. Once the food is delivered and all the extra requests of the guests have been fulfilled, the server then steps away from the table, allowing time to eat and have conversation without being overly interruptive.
