Today the company is best known for their Mac computer line with their iOS operating systems, as well as their innovative products including the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Their software products include iTunes for media, Safari for web browsing and iLife and iWork productivity suites. In 1980’s Apple Inc grew due to the growth of the personal computer industry. During this decade, Apple also introduced a new interface including icons, windows, and pull down menus. These characteristics are now used in all computer operating systems.

Consumers at all levels may need some hand holding from time to time. Though they turned the corner with meaningful net income and EBITDA in 2010 its obvious during 2011 first quarter results that they are pouring significant dollar into sales, marketing expenses, and product development. Product development annualized in Q1 is almost 100 compared to 65 million in 2010, similarly sales and marketing are on a track to almost double from 2010 of 59 million to the first quarter annualized to 117 million. One of the concerns will be if these significant costs will drive revenues enough to deliver profits and EBIDTA. Net income for March 31, 2011 was only 2 million or annualized amount of 8.3 million compared to 15.4 million for the year-end in 2010. Even people who don’t use electronic devices designed by Apple, most of those devices were probably encouraged by Steve Jobs in one way or another. Steve Jobs was one of the most influential people someone could ever meet.
Apple is one of the most famous and popular companies in the world now; the reason for its popularity not only is their innovative products and pioneering ideas, but is also their form of advertisement. Steve Jobs, the founder of the company “Apple”, once said, “It’s not about pop culture, and it’s not about fooling people, and it’s not about convincing people that they want something they don’t.” So then, how did his company advertise their products? There are many different propaganda techniques that a company can use to persuade customers, and Apple is one of the companies that use these techniques a lot. Apple uses the propaganda technique "testimonial" to make people see connections between the company and their featured celebrities. One of Apple’s most famous use of the propaganda technique “testimonial” is from the advertisements from the campaign “Think Different” (1997-2002) because Apple used well known influential thinkers.

The movie “Jobs” released in 2013, based on Steve Jobs’ life, portrayed Steve as someone who often walks around the office barefoot. Apple’s informal culture is what made them different from their competitors. It always had a reputation for encouraging individuality, innovative ideas and excellence, which in turn attracted many talented workers.

Apple Inc. somehow knew this year’s before the rest of the world. Apple Inc. has successfully embedded innovation in its DNA. Apple reported in their financial statements that about $75 million was spent in the development of the iPhone. Apple spent money developing a new innovative product that disrupted and changed the electronics market place.
During the tenure of former CEO Steve jobs, Apple had extreme unprecedented success. Garnering an almost cult-like following with its innovations, Apple found itself in very unique position in that the products it manufactured were first to market, essentially creating a new market for competitors to challenge it in. While there where computers, phones and mp3 players from different companies none had the integration and usability across all it’s platforms like Apple did. This allowed it to sell one product to a consumer but guarantee this product would work with its other devices. Additional to this, it brought to market a phone that integrated various technologies.
