Health care communication is needed no matter what your health care title is; whether it is surgeon, CEO of a hospital or health facility, physician, emergency room technician, medical assistant, or medical administrative assistant. My Manager, myself and all the care team have regular meetings to discuss all the service users and if any of their needs have changed and to be sure that everyone knows what is happening, if any changes have been made. This also helps if anyone has any issues that they need to raise. All meetings are recorded and amendments made to care plans etc. I communicate with other professionals such as District Nurses, GP's, Chiropodists, Mental Health Team. Communication problems will vary between each service user depending on their disability, illness.
This paper will address the foundational frameworks of QI, the various stakeholders’ definition of quality, the various roles of clinicians and patients in QI. This paper will also address why quality management is needed in health care industry, accrediting and regulatory organizations involved in QI. The Foundational Frameworks of QI The foundational framework of QI is a continuous process that focuses on multiple relationships such as implementing improvements and improvements in processes. Some areas that organizations may concentrate their improvement efforts on are the reduction of medication errors, reduction of emergency room wait times or clinical measures such as breast cancer screenings or HIV testing. Walter Shewhart developed the Plan, Do, Study Act cycle used as the basis for planning and direction performance improvement efforts (Ransom, Joshi, Nash, & Ransom, 2008).
Effective communication and interpersonal interaction between individuals is important in all situations in society, such as in health and social care settings such as hospitals, nurseries and care homes. Both theories of communication can be taken across into health and social care settings to help communication and interpersonal interaction between health and social care professionals and service users be as effective and as possible. The first theory I will be talking about is the communication cycle which i discussed in P2. The communication cycle is a type of code that requires you figuring out what the other person is trying to say and what their behaviour means. This theory would allow service users and health care professionals to communicate more easily and effectively.
There are different ways to monitor the effects of research such as; using questionnaires, interviews and reviewing the data. An example of this is to send out a health questionnaire asking the public how they feel the GP surgeries are performing. One of those organizations is the Joint Commission and another one of them is the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA). These organizations are responsible for developing and improving the quality of care. The Joint Commission is responsible for trying to continually improve the health care of the public they do this by working with stakeholders and evaluating different health care organizations while encouraging them to go above and beyond in providing safe and effective care at the highest quality and value (Spath, 2014). The NCQA is responsible for developing standards that will continue to improve the quality of health care. If an organization is interested in acquiring the seal of the NCQA they must first be able to pass a rigorous and comprehensive review as well as report annually on the continued performance of the organization (About NCQA, 2014).

Nurses communicate in the course of a mixture of media, including oral, print, demonstration, role modeling, and community appearances. Communicating is an ongoing, complicated, always changing process between two or more individuals to convey a message (Hansten & Jackson, 2009). Successful communication is vital in the health care field to guarantee efficient patient care.
