Introduction: In this assignment i will be explaining my own views and attitude againt diversity, and how it could impact on work with young children and young people. Assessment Criteria 2.3 In my own opinion everyone has different kinds of opinions and values than to others. When you work with children from a young age. You start to realize that it's not always needed for you to be aware of them. So say if you act out on these attitudes, it could have a bad effect on the children your working with and other children they might know, and you would not want them to copy your own actions in a result.
They can quickly fall behind from peers of the same age. They may find it difficult to interact and make friends with others who are more advanced. They may struggle with intellectual development memory and concentration. Delayed speech development A child who has limited or no speech could be a cause great concern. This would affect a child’s social and communication development as he/she would find it difficult to listen and speak to peers staff and carers this could also affect their behaviour possibly becoming frustrated and quite angry Whatever concern you have about a Childs development in any area, you should always share it with others.
The sentence structure and the details inform us of a memory that we all have inside us all. One that is kept very close to the heart is priceless and accessible any time of day, which reminds the reader of the time they spent with their loved ones, the trouble and the passion of the certain event. The lessons and the impacts a memory can have is very crucial in a lifetime, it can shape the views of the world and people. They focus on memories that help many humans get through life, people depend on memories to help make better future decisions than they did in the past. Most important of all is that every human has their own views on their very own special memory that has shaped their lives, they cannot be judged by others who have not experienced the memory with them.
This is when they can communicate with their friend and adults around them to help a person in need or to join in with games for example. 1.3) How having speech, language and communication difficulties will affect children’s development varies, because it will depend on the type and severity of the problems and the support a child receives. However, fear was seeping through me as the hours of walking to the building came nearer. Questions like “ What if they don't remember me?” , “ What if I don't fit in?” was hovering my brain as I was waking up to get ready for the first day. Everything had to be perfect, I mean its the big step to the rest of my life. Although, I wish I was prepared to what came ahead. Academically, my first year of high school was on a ball.
When I started classes, memories started to surfaces from the past. Remembering that I had another long-term dream, to become an entrepreneur, and have my own Pr-K learning center. When I remembered this dream I realized returning to school was the most important decision that I could have made. With that thought in mind, I started moving in the direction to accomplish that dream. Yes, there has been negative events that as accrued during my lifetime, but it has made me stronger and more determined to fulfill my dreams.
Sometimes this is learned behaviour from home and is hard for young children to understand that you are telling them it is not okay to call names because of someone’s skin colour or how they look . It is important to be consistent and reinforce that it’s not okay and it is very upsetting and hurtful. How would they feel if they were left out. We need to teach our children empathy from an early age and to respect each other regardless of race, age, gender, how we look, where were from. 2.2 Any form of prejudice and discrimination can have a severe negative effect throughout a person’s life.
You do something above and beyond there will be a reward, you do something you know you are not supposed to do and there will be a negative consequence. This instills the idea of right and wrong. It prevents them from believing every action they take in the right direction earns a reward, but also lets them know that is they fall in their behavior that they will be reprimanded for their actions. Most parents from the study this book is based off of believed this was the option they thought they were using. However after discussing with other parents they found that they had flawed their own parenting plan by not being consistent enough with either of the
According to our text corporal punishment is the gratuitous intentional inflectional of pain on children’s bodies for the purpose of modifying behavior. When a child is being discipline it does not always have to be physical. Sometimes all it takes is for you to say their name, or speak firm to them. Some children have a history of being spanked for no reason so when they get out of the situation and get into a better one all it takes is for them to hear you raise your voice and they know. I also believe that taking things away from them is a great way of showing them that they must do what they are told.
.2 How and when is peer pressure harmful? Can it ever be helpful? Why? Peer pressure can be harmful when peers are constantly advising you to do things that are wrong and insinuate that you are not cool or will not be allowed to hang with the “in crowd” because you are doing what they are doing. Many children feel pressured because they want to fit in and do the wrong things just so that they can feel like they are a part of something.
