This way it keeps everybody equal in terms of wearing the correct clothing and may reduce or even stop young people/children from being discriminated. 2.2/2.4 I think that the impact of prejudice & discrimination could have a major influence on a young person/child when it comes to their learning. It could have an affect on their own self-esteem by making them feel down and low. This might make them want to stop learning altogether and start becoming disruptive to the class and the teacher. Their social development might become affected because if they feel they are being discriminated, then they might not want to play along with other and may just keep themselves to themselves.
They should be put into thearopy or analyzed by a psychologist to see whats going on on their heads to see what causes then to do horrifying things that they are doing to want to hurt other people. They often lesrn from their mistakes by being shown the right way to handle certain situations rather than using violence. Their parents should lead by example because most of the time the children look up to their parents. If the child is not being shown any attention at home, they usually do something drastic so they can get that attention that they want. Kids should not be tried as adults.

A child being unable to express themselves through oral language may find it themselves frustrated and will show this frustration in their behavior towards others. This will affect their social and communication development strongly, as they won’t be able to communicate normally, they will probably show less want to join in with others and friendships may be harder to obtain. A child that crawls later than normal wouldn't be able to explore their environment the way a normal child would. This would affect their physical development and their intellectual development, as their learning at the age of crawling is sometimes dependent on their ability to move and touch things.
You do something above and beyond there will be a reward, you do something you know you are not supposed to do and there will be a negative consequence. This instills the idea of right and wrong. It prevents them from believing every action they take in the right direction earns a reward, but also lets them know that is they fall in their behavior that they will be reprimanded for their actions. Most parents from the study this book is based off of believed this was the option they thought they were using. The pain that the children may experience is not worth the lessons they may learn from the project. I can't see how any parent would want their child to participate. The lessons learned in this experiment will be revealed to both sides of the children when they getting older and more mature and can understand more.
Younger children can also catch on to whatever is being presented by other children when they come in contact with them and that is another way of observing and assessing a child with behavioral issues. All of these factors impacts students with EBD but all children may not be exposed to all of these
‘It’s Not Discipline, It’s a Teachable Moment’ states that many parents and educators use various forms of punishment to discipline. However, in doing so, they tend to inadvertently reinforce inappropriate behaviors. While time-outs can be effective in helping young children control their emotions, many adults misuse the technique, by making it too long or scolding the child during the time-out. As the article points out, parents will often drop whatever they are doing in order to discipline their child in cases where they are acting up, which is exactly what the child wants, thus rewarding them. Moreover, it is much more effective to reward children for their desirable behavior.
When the so-called “negative parts” of the books remain, kids gain knowledge of what is and what is not good to do, say, or act. Even though it may seem bad for them, in the long run it’s actually helping them. Books should not be banned from society because they are a way of imagination for children, and a way of life to adults. Opponents say some books should be banned from society, just because they have suggestive content. Religious issues shape ethical and moral viewpoints.
The people that most of us deal with on a day-to-day basis will have as many-inbuilt attitudes and values as ourselves. When it comes to children they are influenced by our behaviour and the way we come across. It is now that we need to be much more self-aware of how we do come across as this will impact on the relationships that we have with the children in our care and the staff around us. If we display negative behaviour and a negative way of dealing with certain people or incidents involving others of perhaps a different race or religion then we unwittingly influence other younger children to behave in the same way. It is our duty to encourage pupils to respect and accept others and the only way to do this is to examine our own beliefs and attitudes and learn not to make judgments on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity or religion.
This means respecting diversity and privacy and finding ways to include all types of people into activities within the setting. Being disrespectful towards pupils and not treating everybody equally may cause depression and low self-esteem in children. This may make them feel that they are not as good as others and feel unsatisfied with themselves. This gives young children a negative outlook on life as they may feel as if they need to change to be like everybody else in order to be accepted and treated with respect. Prejudice and stereo typing should not be tolerated within a care setting.
