November 2, 2013 Dr. Leah Hollis 7474 Unknown Avenue Schenectady, TX 69021 Dear Leah, I would like to thank you for your continued business with Mario’s Burgers and Fries and for being a valuable customer with us! I really appreciate your business and want to ensure that any questions and concerns are addressed as soon as possible. Currently we have a policy set forth stating that we do not allow pets to come into our store to dine with customers. This policy concerns all customers who dine with us to ensure everyone has a positive and worry-free dining experience. Although we understand that having the pets of your family with you may be ideal, we regret to inform you that we are unable to exempt our policy in reference to having recreational pets in our facility. Some of the primary reasons we are incapable of accepted this request are listed as follows: • FDA prohibits bringing animals into any establishment where food is served • The need for the facility to remain clean and healthy • So all customers have an enjoyable dining experience There is an exception to those customers whom require a service pet for medical reasons. The Americans with Disabilities Act requires all restaurants to allow those with disabilities to have service dogs with them. According to regulations we cannot deny these customers this service. However, any other types of pets are not permitted. We do thank you for your understanding in this matter and hope that you and your family will continue to dine with Mario’s Burgers and Fries. If you have any other questions or concerns in response to this correspondence, please contact or facility manager John Taylor any time Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am-4pm. Thank you again for your business with us. We look forward to seeing you soon! Best regards, Mario Windley Human Resources Manager
