Why you're a good person

I feel my future will be positively influenced by becoming part of the New Vision program. Although I haven’t had any hands-on practice, I feel that my numerous hours spent at Warner’s Physical therapy every week, and my drive to pursue the career that I want, will make me eligible for this program. I am currently a high honors student, involved in National Honors Society, and partake in many athletics. Being involved in all of these activities shows commitment to my team, my education, my teachers, and myself. One of the four pillars to the National Honors Society is commitment. To show this, volunteering throughout the whole year, and maintaining a ninety percent overall average, allows the council know you are committed. Being very committed to myself and school work allows me to strive for the best in life. The professional work environment at the Oswego Hospital is friendly, but mature. Becoming a senior means getting ready for the real world. Students here at the Oswego High School are not as mature and ready as I would like to be. Although my mind is set on the physical therapy career, new visions will open new doors to careers I never thought I’d like. Taking part in New Vision gives me the exciting opportunities to observe the busy workday of health care professionals. Having the opportunity to stand next to a surgeon in a real hospital operating room will allow me to learn in a real world environment. As college approaches, the transition from high school can be tough and frustrating. Being a part of the New Vision program will allow me to accept a level of independence that will help me have a smoother transition to college. Everything I’ll learn from this program will help me become a better person in many ways. Ill be more responsible, mature, and more intelligent. My goal for my future is to take everything I learn from this program, and use it
