“WE ARE WHAT WE EAT” Who Am I? What’s make me? The simple answer that we could quickly detail are my age, height, weight, eye and hair colour, marital status, number of children, place of residence, occupation. All of the exterior facts of my life (D’Amor, J. Peter, 2001). There is no doubt that all these questions also related to our healthy body and the food we eat to make sure our body is resistant to all diseases. Healthy body could affect our life in so many ways. It gives our bodies the energy they need to function well. If we don’t make sure that the fuel pump into our body is of right quality or quantity, we just won’t feel as healthy as we could. We all have up to 100 trillion cells in our bodies, each one demanding a constant supply of daily nutrients in order to function optimally. Food affects all those cells, and by extension every aspect of our being such as mood, energy levels, food cravings, thinking capacity, sex drive, sleeping habits and general health. In short, healthy eating is the key to wellbeing. Let’s look at the ten important food facts to understand relationship between food and our body health based on McKeith (2004). First, a diet high in fat (particularly saturated fat) and high in salt is associated with an increased of coronary heart diseases. According McKeith (2004), fats have terrible reputation.
