Outcome 1- * Outline the legislative frameworks that relate to an individual with autistic spectrum condition. The autism spectrum is a term used to describe a range of people who have a common set of characteristics relating to their ability to interact, communicate and make sense of the world. Within the autistic spectrum there are different abilities in relation to the above that state classic autism and Asperger syndrome, these signify the severity of the children who suffer from autism and it makes it easier for people to identify this. A diagnosis of the autism spectrum is conducted by a range of professionals, from the multi-agency team, through observation and assessments. * Analyse how legislative frameworks underpin the development of services for individuals with autistic spectrum condition. The legislative frameworks support the development of those within the autistic spectrum condition by providing the necessary services in order to cater for their needs. These are as follows; health and social care, education and social development. As far as the health and social care is concerned there are six key topics which need to be achieved in order to maintain a professional relationship between carer/play workers to autistic spectrum condition. These are; Dignity: people should be given the care and support they need in a way which promotes their independence and emotional well-being and respects their dignity; Privacy: people should be supported to have choice and control over their lives so that they are able to have the same chosen level of privacy as others; Choice: care and support should be personalised and based on the identified needs and wishes of the individual; Safety: people should be supported to feel safe and secure without being…show more content…

Symptoms are affected by age, level of cognitive functioning and degree of social impairment. -Communication deficits if a child has a shortage in communication, this could be a sign that the child may not be developing at the right rate.
