A sinful social structure is a wrongdoing committed against the society. These acts tend to degrade, oppress or exclude others in the society. This state comes from people in the community. We have various forms of sinful structures. The first one is immorality. Immorality is usually in many forms like incest, adultery, prostitution Incest is whereby people of the same family that is relatives have sexual intercourse. This happens in our society nowadays. This is against God’s laws hence it is termed as sin. In the Bible for example in Gen 19; 36, it narrates the story of Lot. He went up out of soar and dwelt in the mountain together with his two daughters. The first born said unto he younger, “our father is old and there is not a man to come unto us after the manner of the earth. Come let us make our father drink wine and we will lie with him. Then we will preserve the seed of our father. They made their father drink wine and the first born slept with him the first night. The second night the younger one also slept with him. They ended up committing incest. Homosexuality and rape among many others. Adultery is also a common form of incest in our society. It is termed as extra-marital sex. In second sam 11:1-5; in the spring of the year, the time when kings go out to battle, David sent Joab and his servants with him and all Israel .They ravaged the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah.
