Even though some kids don’t have the same circumstances as others, they should still be made to go to school until they are a legal adult because it will help them get a better job, make better money, and provide more opportunities for themselves than they might have if they dropped out at the young age of sixteen. Free public education is something that the United States has that many other countries in this world is not fortunate enough to have. To be able to send our children to school for free and have them receive a education to help not only better themselves, but also better out nation is one of the main reasons so many families immigrate here. From a young age, most children learn that in order to succeed, one needs to go to school and excel. This, unfortunately, is not always an option for kids.
Should Students Have the Right to Drop Out of School at Any Age? In the tradition sense, a solid education background or advanced degree can guarantee a good career. Based on this perspective, students should work hard and finish school. However in reality, new data from the state Department of Education shows “More than 1 in 5 public school students in the county will drop out of school by their senior year”. However, if students have the right reason to drop out of school due to their personality and personal interest, family issues, or they have own business, they should be able to decide their future since talent is not based solely on academics.
First of all, many students have after school jobs that they have to maintain. Some families rely on their kids to provide either for themselves or for their families. An extra two hours of school might not allow kids the ability to juggle school and work at the same time. Also if the school day is two hours longer, students that work will not have enough time to maintain a social life or even be able to keep their jobs. Extending the school day may do more harm than good.
Students can experience a more beneficial learning environment by having a longer school day. High schoolers in particular should always be learning and wanting to approach more opportunities. Also, having a better learning experience means having no stress from being really tired. When you are stressed, it can make you distracted and unfocused on your studies. If kids miss a day it will result in missing out on learning new things and they would need to make work up.
Should the school leavening age be raised to 18? , for example you may think that people want to get out and earn money after they have done there GCSE’s ,but other people may think that you should stay in school and get A levels etc. My personal opinion is that people should still be allowed to leave school at the age of 16 but others can stay at school until the age of 18. I think if everybody had to stay in school until the age of 18 there would be a lot of problems like the pupils with po This argument is a hard one to decide on unless you have very strong points about being for or against or attitude may disrupt learning and some people would want to get of and earn money so they would skip lessons etc. The reasons why it should be raised to the age of eighteen are that a lot of people who did not get so much luck in there GCSE’s would get more opportunity to learn and get better results.
Why High School Graduates Should Take a Year Off Before Going to College I believe that after graduating high school it is helpful in many ways to take a year off before you decide to enter college. Nothing is better for a person than to be able to live a year with a fresh and open mind for what they want to do for the rest of their life. This is a year to be able to consider all the options, find stability in their life and with their financials, and they would be way more motivated to go back to school or even have better luck getting into a school. A year to be able to consider all the options in life could be very useful for indecisive people. If you are not positive on exactly what you want to do in life yet a year is more than enough to research jobs.
People can take advantage of this free college, taxes can be raised, and it can take more time for employees, but there is a way you can fix all of the problems. To be able to have free community college, there should be restrictions against it. If a student doesn’t have a 3.0 grade point average, or if as student doesn’t have a 18 or higher on their ACT, if the attendance is below 95%, and a high school diploma. if there requirements aren’t met, then you shouldn’t allow free community college to that particular person. In conclusion, I believe free community college should be allowed.
It was new to me and little overwhelming. I believe that was a result of my lack of exposure to diversity growing up. If I was exposed to the different types of people and things when I was younger, it would not have shocked me as much. It would have prepared me for working with different groups of people while I was in college. My college made sure that the students were exposed to many different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs by requiring students to attend 24 cultural events before graduation.
Making new friends can also help to adjust to the new surroundings. A lot of students sometimes become afraid of the first year of college. This may lead to different types of academic difficulties. Some may face test anxiety and trouble concentrating. If a student gets the feeling that the work load is becoming too much, they should meet with their advisor, go to on campus tutoring or join a study group.
It can be help students build an upright character and altruism. Last, beginning is only half the battle. When they started volunteering it can be suffer but after several days, some students might feel they want to do this again. It could be hard to experience by them first but after that they might change their mind. In conclusion, they can volunteering another community it is also good but the World vision is talent donation community so it would be more helpful to them so students should be required to do mandatory
