To be honest after graduation I can see myself doing any type of counseling I personally want to help people become a better them. The ideal counseling for me would be family therapy. That student may suffer for that day in school, but the money he/she donated will feed a hungry person that may not have eaten in days. That student probably would feel great about himself, and other students would see that. Other students may also do the same thing as the first student to get the same feeling of doing the right thing. That one student now influenced many others to follow in his/her steps to promote a good cause. When people do things for the right reason, others may think less of the people working toward good causes.
Some clients might feel so close to the counsellor in a professional way after the counsellor has basically get them from rock bottom to where they want to be. So the client may feel them wants to give something back by maybe inviting the counsellor to their wedding, days out or any special events. But a counsellor becoming friends with the client while still having sessions could lead to a lot of bad things. The client will still be vulnerable that’s why they are still attending the sessions. The way u has a counselling and client bond will change and not become professional.
Students can experience a more beneficial learning environment by having a longer school day. High schoolers in particular should always be learning and wanting to approach more opportunities. Also, having a better learning experience means having no stress from being really tired. When you are stressed, it can make you distracted and unfocused on your studies. If kids miss a day it will result in missing out on learning new things and they would need to make work up.
