Sending students overseas is a waste of money Some say that sending students oversea is a waste of money. One of the disadvantages is that they have to stay away from family and friends. Thus, the students’ physical and psychological condition may be affected. Some students need to work hard to clear debts they owe with their student loans. Well there is a saying that "TO GAIN SOMETHING WE NEED TO LOSE SOMETHING". After completion of there courses like masters, phd, they can lead a great life with good salary and great job. Thus, in my opinion studying in abroad is not a waste of money. I have various reasons to support my opinion. Personal Development Increased self-confidence and served as a catalyst for increased maturity – Living in another country, even if it is with a host family, means the students might be doing things they may not have done in their home country.  These include cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, washing clothes, figuring out transportation, making living arrangements, setting up accounts for cell phones and utilities, etc.  They may think of this as a disadvantage, but many international students go home proud that they have become very self sufficient. A student with a foreign education will have a lasting impact on world view – A foreign education enriches the life experience of the students, and broadens their vision to view the world. To feel the intercultural different between motherland and the country where they are studying. Studying in abroad is a great experience, the students get a chance to expose to western culture, and they can learn there traditional beliefs, language, and they can make good friends.
