Now, more and more children don’t like to listen to the other people. When someone is talking to them, they won’t care what he/she is talking about, and they will continuous to play their game. In many parents’ eyes, they will think their child still younger and like to play. Actually, if parents don’t correct their children’s attitude for listening, that will make their children don’t know how to listen to the other people anymore. Learning to how to listen is a core; it should be a part of children’s education.
Williams is truly a gift that only comes sparingly to one. Often we are stuck with teachers who think they know things but are actually filled with false knowledge. But, Mrs. Williams was genuine and honest. One could say that she had a very knowledgeable vibe about her. I believe Mrs. Williams left an impact on every child who was blessed enough to have her.
(Lindeman and Hackett, p2) Despite this growth, many systems have not given their programs the ability to grow to their fullest potential. Simply stated: the presence of music in the school system, especially the elementary ages, will give the students a change to connect, ignite a spark and give them some sort of excitement and curiosity to explore the world of music. It is a significant contribution to the complete education of the student. (Hacket, pg. 4).
They took schooling serious, even though Sheila had endured a limited education. This shows me that her and her family has a persevering spirit and wants the best in everything. Sheila’s cousin, Nicole, also had a great interest in learning and I personally love that she took her experience with computers and taught other people about it, and she did it when knowledge of computers was also very limited. What I like about Yolanda is that she uses music as a way of expression. This was interesting to me because I can relate to it.
Jenny Graves: I love being able to help the younger generations learn and to guide them to be the very best they can be in life. After all they are our future and without us to guide them then the future does not look too promising. Cynthia Moore: What made you choose a career in early childhood education? Jenny Graves: The lack of dedication among the teacher’s I had growing up. To them it was just another job and I wanted more for those learning.
Tiara Warmack 3/16/2014 SPE-226 Educating the Exceptional Learner Instructor Crystal McCabe Life Long Learning Lifelong learning is something that everyone achieves whether they try to or not. People learn something different everyday even though they may not pay attention to the lesson. People take education for granted as well as continuing to become more educated over the course of life. People with disabilities thrive at the chance to learn because the odds are against them. What most people take for granted is what people with disabilities wish they could accomplish as easy as those without disabilities.
Students will be less focused in school, and less likely to continue their educations, if they dread going to school each day. Including art and music in he curriculum will motivate students, and will inspire them to enjoy school. It will also give them a creative outlet. Many young people have trouble expressing their emotions in words, but find that the can communicate their ideas through music and art. Giving students an opportunity to create every day will keep them engaged in learning, keep frustration at bay, and lead to happier, more fulfilled children.
For the majority, individuals who decide to work with children, first enjoy children. This is unique to that discourse community. Most people like children but would find it un-enjoyable to work with them on a daily basis. But for individuals who go into the education field, they have a passion to work with children every day and usually hope to make a difference. Whether to work with disadvantaged children who help preschoolers get ready for school, they all want to help children on their own way and have a specific desire to that discourse community.
Not only were these individuals academically talented and exceptionally hardworking, they also possessed humility and the sometime uncommon ability to speak to and relate to each of their children, at whatever stage of growth they were in at a particular time. This resulted in not only great role models, but also approachable wisdom at the disposal of anyone needing some advice or direction. Although, in a proactive and preventative sense, Cliff and Claire could not control their children’s actions, they were able to take negativity and turn it into life lesson’s so that their kids would grow learn. This not only improved their lives, but the development for the future was made obvious as
I tried to keep focus but my solitude was starting to become unbearable. Yes there were many students around but they all seemed to have their own network since they knew their classmates from their previous schools while all of my friends were in regular ed classes. I started to rebel and slacked off so much that teachers began to wonder why i was in a advanced class since they thought i couldn't hack their work load when in reality all i wanted to do was be placed in regular ed just to be with my friends. Odd and dumb reason, i know but I didn't know that at the time. Eventually I was moved from classes due to my insubordination and i was content at the time.
