Imaginary audience arises from the larger concept of adolescent egocentrism. Teens will feel that the imaginary audience is always commenting and judging them, teens at times can get caught up in their imagination and consider themselves “celebrities” but no one is actually watching them. The adolescent get so caught up in their imagination, that they develop a mood for their “audience”. The mood that the “audience” usually has is the attitude that the teen has that day for example if the teen feels self conscious than the “audience” is going to be judgmental. Other countries with low drinking ages do not have major health problems concerning alcohol and their young adults, thus proving alcohol is not necessarily unhealthy for developing young adults. The Federal Government should lower the legal drinking age to eighteen because citizens are treated as adults at eighteen so they are mature enough to vote, get married, go to war, and be prosecuted as adults so they should be able to buy alcohol. The law pushes students to drink in private places to avoid trouble, and with adults non-existent, inexperienced heavy drinking, assault, and sexual misconduct is far more likely to occur. Students find it very hard to get along with college faculty and police officers because of the harsh penalties students receive from them. Among young adults the high drinking age is a very unpopular law, thus faculty and police who are responsible for the enforcement the law become unpopular, creating animosity between students and their officials.
Anyone who was positive in the movie they tried to hurt or they killed them off. Young minorities are faced with theses images everyday from music videos on down to television shows and I feel that it was an awful depiction of black culture. I do feel that the movie is detrimental and can taint a young urban minorities mind; it could lead young men and women to idolize criminal lifestyle. When Goldie refers to himself as a “hero” I could almost imagine what is going on in a young teenager’s mind. Their probably thinking the movie was great or they want to sell drugs, be a player or pimp just like him without seeing the truth.
Well, he’s dead now. Anyway, on a brighter note, today’s society still looks at young people as being naïve and crazy, but at least they don’t beat us for it like they did in the olden days. Now we’re aloud to roam free, with the exception of curfew and when express ourselves some people actually take our ideas into account. Romanticism inspires art, creativity, literature, music, and unique ideas. That’s why I don’t like, hate it even though those stories were so lame.

In an age of technology, however, new entertainment has invaded society and rotted morals. Television, computer and video games, movies, and others have placed an unhealthy emphasis on indulgence and violence. By capitalizing on thrillers like aggression, much of entertainment has distorted human character and promoted violence.
Teens will not have the thrill of breaking the law. It will just seem like a thing people do, but in moderation. Teens find it thrilling to do something that's forbidden. Take it from me, I am a 17 year old teenager. When someone tells me not to do something, it makes me want to do it more.

Prohibition had not stopped people from drinking; neither will a law stating a legal age limit. Many teens have tried alcohol at least once in their life, even some as young as 5th grade. There is a lot of peer pressure, and the idea of looking and being 'cool' is what makes these teens try alcohol. However, lowering the drinking age to eighteen would decrease that problem, of course it would not stop those under eighteen from drinking, but that can be somewhat controlled by parents and adults in the lives of the youths. If the age limit was lowered the alcohol would no longer be a forbidden, therefore it would not be as appealing as it would normally.
