Never Too Late For College Never Too Late For College Latisha Pearson Eng. 121 – English Composition 1 Michelle Pinkard September 8, 2011 Never Too Late For College 1 My reason for enrolling in college after 21 years is probably just like everyone else. I decided to attend Ashford University to better my life for my children and me. My main objectives are to receive a B.A. degree in Business Administration and open an affordable daycare center for low income families. Within four years my goal is to receive my B.A. degree in Business Administration. My completion of college will open many doors for me; it will allow me to start a career goal I dream of. I decide to return back to school to get my B.A. degree in Business Administration. A career goal that will not allow me to live paycheck to paycheck like my parents. My mother went to Megar Evans College in Brooklyn, New York. She receive a B.A. degree in Sex Education. My father on the other hand dropped out of school in the ninth grade. He had to help his mother provide for his siblings. Even though, my parents had fairly decent jobs and made good money. It still wasn't easy Never Too Late For College 2 for them to support me and my siblings without struggling. My story is a little different from my parents. I entered motherhood at the age of fifteen in the ninth grade. I continue to go to school, because my goal was to receive a high school diploma. Becoming a mother at an early age forced me to put college on hold. I had to get a full time to support me and my daughter.
