My senior year is very important and that is why I must use it efficiently. There are many things I hope to accomplish during my senior year. Graduation is my top priority because if I do not graduate my future will be in jeopardy. I hope to get good in the areas in which I have been training for. Getting into college so that I can be successful is the main goal in my life is.
Becoming Drum Major has definitely been in my mind since the very first Marching Band meeting I attended. I wish to obtain this prestigious position because it shows true character in a person. Truth is, I didn’t know what it meant to be a Drum Major until I saw how previous Drum Majors acted throughout my freshman and sophomore year. I saw that they both inspired many people to do their best, and for this I was inspired to try-out for this position. I really want to be able to motivate the band to do well in competitions and in addition, reach their goals in life.
Hopefully in the future I will become a successful doctor. This is what I always wanted to accomplish. I will never give up on my goal. I enjoyed the BCCC Annual Convocation; I learned a lot with this knowledge that I’ve been given by the speakers. I will work hard to get A’s and B’s this year so I can graduate.
I never let any of these factors hinder me from becoming an A/B honor roll student or joining an organization I was interested in. Becoming a recipient of this award would make the thought of college much easier for both my mother and I financially. Memorable moments throughout my high school years will always come from being a cheerleader at Orangeburg Wilkinson High for four years. Being a cheerleader always required dedication, sacrifices, hard work and most of all leadership abilities. There was always moments when I had to step up my senior year and live up to my title as being co-captain.
Along with working hard comes a good grade, to me personally, grades play a big role in success. Throughout high school there are colleges constantly looking for good students with good grades and doing well in school. I do not believe I can reach success if I only have a high school diploma, so it is important for me to reach higher and achieve better goals. In my opinion, people’s true beliefs are expressed through their actions. With saying that, I know that if I try hard and work hard, I will reach success.
Being able to play sports is also a privilege. Many athletes know that their classroom performance is very important. Making good grades provides a better student first and then a great athlete. In many communities and high school, if you don't make the grades you don't play, or in some cases even make the team. The importance of grades is also must for students who are pursuing an athletic scholarship.

This statement is more significant today because of the difficult times we are facing. At this stage in my life a college degree is the only thing that can help me to get a change. It’s becoming harder to find a well paying job that enables one to support their family. A College education means that my daughter will have a good example to follow.
We had the great run, and ended up being the 10th seed. We went through first 3 rounds without any problems big problems. As now our team has the chance to write history for our school, as we were 180 minutes (two full games) from winning the second state championship in soccer in school’s history. Everyone was certain that we will be the team to beat after we eliminated the number one seed in the quarterfinals thanks to my 2 saves in
Carolina Del Rio National Honor Society Dedication, modesty, and homage are three commonly obscured words, which behold the greatest values that I hold dear. They are the foundations to my life and have fiercely assisted in the cultivation of my present and future success. These three words require much diligence, proficiency, and reverence; these challenges, however, have become part of my world. With years of experience, I have learned how to cope and ultimately embrace them. One of my greatest triumphs is my superlative achievements as a student.
