I grew up with parents who believed in Juan’s morality and have raised me to believe in the same as well. There came a time in his life that Romero wanted more than what he had, which made sense considering the fact that most people are often out to attain better things in life than the ones they already have. I always wanted to go to workwith him. I never thought about going to work just to make a living, but it did make it a little clearer for me to understand. My father would let me know that I will be out on my own one day, and in order to live life comfortably I will have to work to earn a living. I now realize what Russell Baker meant in his quote “go to work and make a living.” There are so many children out there that are clueless about work in America. Most don’t understand what their parents work for.
The best of the best will receive the jobs they worked towards and deserve. Judy had the drive to continue on to college and graduate with a degree. But she didn’t have the drive to search and find a job after that. Due to this, her degree has become useless. She could have chosen a more in demand major, or she could be the driven college student she once was and have the motivation to pursue her dream.
To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life. A new door in life allows for new opportunities, which allows for personal growth, which results in ones successes in life. The reason that made Chen Da success is his guilt towards his family, because they believe in him. His family never gave up on him; instead they kept on encouraging him to do better. Not only would I be leaving me brother and my father behind, I would be leaving all of my friends behind too. I was depressed at first, but once I was settled into my new school and made friends it was a little easier. As my mom promised me before moving to North Carolina, we would travel back and visit at least once a month. During these visits every month, I always had a list of things to catch my father up on. I would tell him what was going on in school, how good I was doing in sports, or how bad of a play I made.
Well as mentioned before I was a single mother so traveling as a flight attendant often my son did not see me much. This was something I could not continue doing for the rest of my life so, I decided to make a career change and this is where I applied at Argosy. My son has always been my automatic push to better myself. I knew that at the beginning of changing careers it was going to be a hard one due to financial hardships. I would work fewer hours at a new job which means less money.
Chris gardner believed his dream was obtainable and did everything possible to get to it. Throughout the movie Chris and his family had many setbacks. His wife didn't believe Chris would get to where he wanted to be in life so she left him. She believed money was everything, to chris it was but just feeling happy was his biggest accomplishment. “You got a dream, you gotta protect it” only means if you feel it then go and get it don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.
Tell them that you turned them in and will help them in their time of need. Show them where they are lacking and teach them to do better. Ultimately it’s on you and how you want to be seen. What do you think is right and how dedicated are you to your job? I know that I always want to advance my career but I don’t want to have smut on my past.
