Growth Reflection During this course, I have learned that I have to observe myself and see myself from the outside to change myself and improve my leadership skills as an individual. Over a period of time I began to build up a sense of the things I liked doing and the things I perceived I am good at. I developed a comfort zone and if I got too far outside its boundaries I felt a certain amount of stress. Individual differences became obvious to me at an early age and my own unique behavioural fingerprint began to show and I gradually began to learn that everyone has a different characteristic that makes them who they are and that I should get to know those individuals so that we can work together to progress as a better team. All through my life and the lives of my classmates, we are continually letting others see how we behave and react in different situations. Every time we have a go at something new, we show others our potential and I learned in this course how to display that potential instead of hiding it and being afraid of getting judged. I was always told how confidence is gained by success and is diminished by failure, but sometimes my own understanding of myself was misplaced, I learned that at times I could become over-confident or under-confident in my own abilities. I learned that confidence comes from within and I learned to believe in myself and with this I gained my confidence and I’m working hard to maintain it. I have learned a lot from this course. I have learned to observe myself and my behaviour before I do things that might hurt someone else’s feelings. Overall I am a more determined and confident leader then I was at the start of this course, I feel like my say does count and I do play a very important part in this
