Transformational Leadership starts with the development of a vision, a view of the future that will excite and convert potential followers. This vision may be developed by the leader, by the senior team or may emerge from a broad series of discussions. Transformational Leadership According to Bass (1990) Transformational leaders seek to transform the organization; there is also a tacit promise to followers that they will be transformed in some way, to be more like a leader. Transformational Leaders, by definition, seek to transform.
Servant leaders devote themselves to serving the needs of organization members and focus on meeting the needs of those they lead. By developing employees to bring out the best in them and coaching others to encourage their self-expression, servant leaders strive to facilitate personal growth in all who work with them. For any effective leader, he or she must listen and possess the ability to persuade, grow, and build a strong sense of community, but for the servant leader, these are necessary traits to develop, and demonstrate in one's daily interactions with others. However, it is easy to lose sight of these ideals, especially in an age where profits outweigh people, but servant leaders are able to take a step back, reflect, and put into daily practice these qualities to overcome such hardships and obstacles. My personal ethics lens includes my personal actions and behaviors, my core values, and responsibilities. My personal preferred lens is the results lens and the reputation lens. I sensibly listen to my intuition to determine the best for everyone and the character traits and ethic beliefs that will best suit my fellow classmates. The ability to persuade and convince others to accept one's argument or reasoning is such a skill, even though that some people are more gifted at it than others. Good leaders should also have integrity of character and lead by example. These qualities, which go to make up character, can be instilled as well. Leadership learning is a life activity. Others have extrovert personalities, who are social and outgoing; these people love to take charge and lead.
Extroverts exhibit pronounced sociability and enthusiasm for engagement with external environment. Such individuals are usually talkative, and assertive in life and when dealing with others. They are known to excel in situations that require team work as opposed to those that require them to work singly. Introversion is the reverse trait to extroversion. Individuals with this trait lack the exuberance and energy associated with extroversion.
