September 27th 2012 Josh Fewer ENG 3U Mrs. Breault Satire/Parody Every day is a new beginning. A brand new start and everybody has an opportunity to flourish and put their skills on display. In high school, you’re given the opportunity to make friends due to a system. To many, it’s a very psychological and natural event that sorts people that share similar traits, into various groups. Any guesses?
Voting for me would allow them to have a better secretary for the rest of the year and possibly a better representative next year. By voting for me to go to CASL, my classmates would benefit because we would have a better & experienced leader in their class. I have shown major commitment and dedication to both leadership and my class. Every single day (even Mondays), I am early and ready to learn how to become a better leader. I have also been at almost every single workday the freshman class has had for all required events.
HIS/135 Week 4 1960 Diary Entry October 1, 1962 I am so excited, I am in enrolling for my classes at Ole Miss. Today. I always have and I always will. As long as everyone lives a good, moral filled life and people learn to coexist with living with each other. “I wished to live without committing any fault at any time,” and in my opinion, everyone should live in that manner. Kayden: That makes perfect sense. Benjamin Franklin: As for a leader, I believe I have a few characteristics of a “leader” … I recently published my successful “Poor Richards Almanac”, which in my opinion tells what all moral beings should strive to do.
The loyalty, the belief, the strength that we each bring to this effort will guide America and to all those who serve it. The world will shine from the fire that we create. Kennedy encourages, if you are citizens of the world, or citizens of America, hold us to the same high standards as we hold for you. He then closes with “let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.” (107) The most memorable thing to come from this speech was Kennedy’s most famous quote, which has resonated throughout the history of America, “And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
however, I knew that I wasn't giving myself another choice. After all, I was taught to finish everything I do with the same motivation that I started it with. Needless to say, I was proud of myself for being named captain my junior year. I felt I had earned that title and would give my best to my teammates. I've participated in an array of clubs and organizations that required commitment and dedication, and as a result, gained lasting friendships and
However I know that returning to school will benefit me in many ways. It will complete me as an individual, businessman, and as a father. I can proudly tell my children that it's never too late to accomplish a goal. Not to mention the satisfaction that I will have gained knowing that I pushed myself to go back to school for my degree. There are so many positives that result from returning to school.
The way it looked Romney came with an answer to all of Obama’s statements he had just said, Romney had and answer/comeback to everything that Obama had just said he gave reasons for it all and supported them with facts. Overall, both candidates proved rather interesting points. I honestly think that they both are equally liked by everyone and that it is going to be a close call between to two in the long run. The 2012 Presidential Debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama was rather interesting, both candidates had their highlights of the night, where they killed it, and both had their flaws of the
