"(PROLOGUE 16-28)" In those lines Antigone shows that her “love” for her brother will leave her “hating” her sister. Ismene is fearful of burying Polyneices, “But think of the danger! Think of what Creon will do!” (PROLOGUE 34). Her devotion to her family is not as strong as Antigones. By accepting the obligation to bury Polyneices, Antigone acts as if she has no choice.
She did, but it was half-hearted and she herself said it wasn't the truth. She had loved Tom when they'd married, she said, but she'd loved Gatsby too. He lost her to Tom again because he pressured her. She was weak and endlessly dependent and Tom was stabile. Either she was too weak to figure out her situation, or a lifetime of having everything handed to her made her simply not want to.
Instead of repenting for his sins he escapes them. Plus he is worried about his daughter because he believes that they will have a horrible future because of him. He lets his pride and authority get in his way of his judgment. Creon was stubborn and did seek change until the death of his family. After his downfall, he finds the understanding of justice. Creon is sorry for what he was done, he repents, but it is already too late.
He hurts his mom after telling her he does not love her and “felt sorry for his mother and she made him lie. He would go to Kansas City and get a job and she would feel all right about it” (Hemingway 77). Krebs means it when he says he does not and cannot love anybody which hurts his mother deeply. Because he has lost or weakened his values he hides how he truly feels and lies and takes it back. He decides that he will run away to Kansas only to escape the problems he cannot confront in his family.

Another, In conclusion, the Husband All and All, the most obvious attributes that nd the Husband share are stubbornness and inconsideration towards others ideologies. For instance, every-time another character brought up a valid point they shot it down, wouldn't conform,and stuck to their own ideas. This is displayed throughout the story It its clear that they are both afraid of change Bailey didn’t want to somewhere new and the husband didn't believe in interracial relationships.
