Practical examples are things that I can relate to that give me a clear picture of what is being taught. With practical examples, I am able to place what is being learned in a situation to where it is easier for me to understand. This gives me a direct visual of what is being learned. In a managers meeting at work, we were given a strategic plan on how to retain employees. One of the plans was to motivate staff to reach goals in a positive manner.
Coming in contact with a Medical Transcriptionist is I’m sure common with Medical Assistants since we both will learn a lot of the same material and be able to read and successfully code the Doctors information. As a Medical Assistant we are trained to do such a variety of jobs that I’m sure I would work closely with a Medical Office Manager as well on a day to day basis. With Medical Assisting we are trained and taught to do administrative duties as well as clinical duties, so that would put me in direct contact with the Medical Office Manager if I’m working the front scheduling, filing, and greeting patients. I will also be working close with the Healthcare Administrator as well, because there job is to ensure things run smoothly and professionally in the bigger offices and hospitals. If I’m doing medical records or billing and insurance coding paperwork, the administrator makes sure the records are complete and done correctly and

I wanted to make my parents proud because of what I was doing. I want to be able to provide for my kids in ways my parents couldn’t always afford too and that’s when I started looking into it more thoroughly. I ended up coming into realization that being a Medical Assistant was also something that started to interest me. I love helping people and meeting new people as well. I work in a place where I see new faces every day, it’s always nice to interact with them and learn a little bit about them in just a matter of a few seconds.
