Memo Based on my previous decisions, regarding the business, I realized that I made a hasty decision in firing the first two workers and hiring someone whom I believed to be more knowledgeable in tax preparation. Another co-worker in the tax office had voiced dissatisfaction with their efforts and that brought to my attention that they were only learning their way at the time. At the time, I thought it better to release the workers based on what the co-workers had said. The new worker was someone who I knew worked at the tax offices of H & R block and was said to be good worker. Time constraints, the financial

This will save time in the long run, which should encourage most employees despite their initial frustration with the management system change. A series of training and preparation with individualized tutorials might mitigate some anticipated resistance. Inadequate communication may also cause resistance. Management will make the major decisions with regard to the scheduled change; it is their obligation to clarify these decisions to subordinates within the company. Management is also expected to properly handle the inevitable questions and grievances; it is important to avoid misinterpretation regarding the procedural
This would also be a good time to cover all policies and procedures for each new employee. If there are any new employees that need additional training the company should be willing to make that available in the future this also will ensure that the company is providing good quality services to the customer. Some of this training can come from outside sources but, it can also come for inside sources form some of the senior employees. Write three questions for a structured interview form that Ron Brown’s service managers can use to interview experienced technicians. 1.
We also communicate to give and receive instructions and information, this enables us all to understand what we are expected to do, Communication is also needed to assess learning development in adults, children and young people so we understand how the person is learning, how they are feeling and if they have understood, so if there is any problems or they need help at all these problems can be discussed and resolved and everyone is happy. 1.2 Explain how effective communication affects all aspects of own work Communication affects all aspects of work. This ranges from talking with the children to keeping the parents informed of their child’s learning and development. I was recently given a task to do with the children and didn’t understand fully what was expected, so i asked my mentor for a demonstration, if i hadn’t have asked for clearer instruction then my learning outcome would probably have been wrong. Any instruction given needs to be affective and understood for it to work properly.
SHC 32: Engage in personal development in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings 2.1 Reflective practice is extremely important as it lets me reflect on my actions and experiences in my workplace and where I can improve my quality of service. It is important to observe the children at all times but personally I find it really useful to reflect on practice during role play especially when new role play equipment is being used, this lets me see how they react and I can make changes and improve where necessary. On the other hand this gives me the opportunity to look at my own learning needs and gives me a greater understanding of how things can be made better and therefore be able to help others in an appropriate way. This
Listening to my inner coach has made me restore faith in my abilities, is supportive, and leaves a feel-good effect. Session 7 saw us identify areas of our own lives that may be causing stress, which for me is finding a balance between work and university. The belief behind this stress is that I must do well at uni, and give it priority to everything else, but I must also earn some money to survive, so as not to feel as though my partner is ‘carrying’ me. When I thought about the underlying issues of the stress, I realised that it was mainly due to the fact that my time management was lacking, so the plan that I developed to reduce this stress in my life was to prioritise my time better. This plan included: * Telling work that I could only do 2 days a week, being Mondays and Fridays * Getting a calendar to work out when all university assessments were due, so that I always have it out in front of me * Making a timetable of when I’m at school, work and fit home study time into the
I can learn about information that is trying to be taught by using hands-on problem-solving. I am improving my ability to be become a thinker by finding time to reflect independently on new information and looking for opportunities to work independently. I try to be sensitive to individuals’ feelings by giving positive feedback. I present constructive criticism in a way that I hope others would not take offense to. Knowing others strengths in an online learning environment helps me understand how they think.
I think the humanistic-encouraging trait is important because like any other leader, people must trust you, set goals that are attainable, learn how to resolve issues in a constructive manner, and encourage your followers. I enjoy listening to people’s problems and helping them think positive and find the healthiest or best solution. I am normally the person my friends come to when they need to talk to someone. I believe as a manager a person must have a sense of how a person is and deal with each person individually if needed so each person as an understanding of what is the mission is. Controlling as a manager is something I believe I will have to work on.
Communicating with my peers helps me trusting in my team mates to be active in the learning experience. Conflict is always a possibility but there is always a resolution. Even outside of the classroom team work is needed. Some examples are in your friendships, household, and
