How I can ensure that my work goals will fit in with the organisations is to find out what the organisations goals and plans are and then to match them to my goals and plans. I can ensure that I meet my job responsibilities is by performing at a satisfactory level or above is a particularly important way to ensure job security. Understanding my position and the goals of the organisation and how my duties are fulfilled helps me to focus on exceeding and meeting the requirements of the job. I can measure and maintain my personal performance by surveying my clients about the service they are receiving, also by defining my goals. I would prioritise my work by making a to-do list and stating which tasks are important and the ones that are not so important.

The need can be a desire to improve current performance or to correct a deficiency. It means that there is a prescribed or best way of doing a task and that variance from it is creating a problem. The needs assessment process helps the trainer and the person requesting training to specify the training need or performance deficiency. Conducting a training needs assessment/identification process is the first step in creating a targeted training and development program within organization.
The competencies exercise revealed my top strengths to be leading, cooperating, coping with pressure, networking, taking initiative and innovating. I am someone who enjoys leading and developing others to achieve results. I can improve upon my critical thinking skills by knowing my strengths and accepting my weaknesses. This will also help with evaluating arguments in a meaningful way. When one knows their competencies they can step up and utilize their strengths and leverage others when needed.

Effective written and verbal communication and being able to use a variety of interpersonal techniques promotes strong working relationships which will then lead to a good quality care for my service users. With service users I initially need to establish a service users ability, needs and preferences in relation to communication needs and develop a plan of action to provide appropriate support that meets the service users communication needs and methods. The assessment involves observation questions and regarding information on a number of areas including ways and their preference of communication by service users which support process of completing the service users person centred plans.
