When people get addicted to drugs or alcohol they can have a lot of serious problems. Overtime drugs and alcohol can cause changes to the brain and can affect a person’s self-control. This can make it hard to make good decisions about are self. Addiction can be like diabetes or asthma, if you have one of these dieses it can’t be cured, you would have to learn how to handle it so it does not cause problems.
