In fact, it is no surprise to me that students are expected to conduct themselves ethically, honestly, and with integrity just like any job or professional business. Basically, treat others the way you want to be treated and respect others in such a way that students can mind their own business on personal matters. Being an adult is all about being responsible for your own actions, not blaming others and finally finding solutions for your own problems.

To encourage this not to happen make sure all team members have a part to do, no matter how small it is. This will encourage participation and show that all team members are important. All team members have a responsibility to the team to do their part. If one person does not want to do their part this causes distress for the rest of the team because then they have to scramble to get that part done. The goal of the researcher is informed consent even for videotaping, recorded interviews, etc. Observers or non-participants should not interfere with the survey. If the study is qualitative, personal bias can skew the data.
