They are mentors to their children that their quest is to lead their child to success. Hopefully if the child receives that type of support and guidance in their life, they will use it in the long run for their own good. The reason why I bring this up is because I believe that this is an important factor to the cause of what is happening to the public school system. Students need to be on the same pace as the teachers to receive positive outcomes for both sides. The public school system should actually study and listen to the students to gain ideas on how they can reverse the direction of where the public school system is heading.
I would want to have done the same things once I have my own classroom and I feel fairly passionate for students to understand and develop tolerance towards people who may be different than themselves. I feel that as teachers, we can take action to really mold our students to grow and be better individuals living in this world. I really do believe that issues in the matter of race/ethnicity and culture has to do with educating oneself of these things and practicing the basic matters a person should carry with themselves. We believe that our work can make a significant difference in a child’s life and in the lives of their families. A place where children can partake in early education of the highest quality, and learn the early skills they need to develop.

I would like to show my family that education is very important, because it doesn't only affect you but everyone that is surrounded by you. I would like to set an example for my little sister, and younger cousins, that anything is possible, and that your education sets a path for your future that if you have a bright future you can have a beautiful life. I would also like God to be proud of me as well. Bishop Noll Institute offers a challenging academic environment, I clearly see it in the upperclassmen’s attitudes and the standards that they set for me as a freshman this year. Apart from the many other common reasons for becoming a teacher (“I feel a calling to teaching”; “it’s a chance to positively impact the community” and “children need good/better role models”), ultimately, I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, and that it will lead to a brighter future for myself, and my family. I’m certain people would perceive pedagogy as a career that would continually put someone through a tremendous amount of stress, and although this could be true, it is why people should be praised for deciding to pursue this profession. Teachers are responsible for shaping children, building their character, and helping them work towards their aspirations. In essence, teachers are the people who create the future. Common Core: Should We Pass It or Trash It? If you are a parent, then you know what I mean when I say that our children are our pride and joy. We put so much love and effort into their primary development, and try hard to teach and guide them in the ways we think best. So when it comes time to send our precious little-ones to their first day of school, wouldn’t we want those same goals in their academic education? If you are like most parents, there would be no other answer in your mind than “Yes”.
The reason I believe that it still exists is because only the people who stay focused on what they want to achieve and dedicate themselves to working hard actually achieve their goals. The people who don’t think that the American Dream exists are the people who don’t work hard for what they want and just expect things to come to them or be handed to them. I am living proof that the dream is still alive today. My parents come from the middle to lower class and have gone to school to educate themselves. They have both worked hard to be able to give me and my sister a better life.
