Respected Judges and my dear school fellows Asalam o alikum. Today the topic of my debate is “Uniform should be banned for higher classes” School uniforms have been a topic of discussion and debate between parents and administrators. There are different opinions of the effect that the school uniforms have on children’s social acceptance, comfort, behavior and the cost to the parents. It is the saying of a student of Lincoln Elementary School. "Uniform shows that I don't want to be a gang member. It shows that I'm a good person." School uniforms offers a sense of belonging to the students and it let the students become one united group, without anyone left behind. Everyone wearing the same uniform shows that they have a spirit to becoming more educated. Students will no longer have to waste their time choosing the clothing which is perfect. Uniforms are designed to be comfortable and tidy to wear. Most importantly, uniforms are cost-efficient, as parents do not have to frequently spend on clothes for their children, thus benefiting them Respected Judges, Firstly, wearing school uniform make students look tidy and clean. We definitely don’t want our children to wear gang clothing with profanities written all over. By wearing gang colours, this will increase the chances of having fights in school. They are inappropriate with rude symbols on the clothing all the time and we don’t want that to happen, because it will damage the school’s reputation and the children’s desire to learn. Secondly, we don’t want to separate the social classes. For example, there are some rich kids who will spend a fortune on their clothing so they can show off to the rest, while there are poor kids who cannot afford nice clothing. Many families simply can’t afford new fashions or new clothes and pass on clothing of their children amongst siblings. They will eventually get picked on and
