Elderly Abuse
Elder care today had changed a lot throughout the years for the needs of patients and their desires. There are many different ways to care for the elderly. There are family members that do research on them to see what best for the elder patient. There are other options for taking care of family members or the care in the home of the elder. The options are adult daycare, continuous care communities, assisted living, nursing homes, and independent living. The adult daycare provider respite care. It means the regular caregiver can use services to take a break from the use of caring. An independent living, a community place where everything is performed for them. In nursing home care there is a medical assistance available on site, daily direct supervision, and personal support, and end of life cases.
Explain the importance of the issue.
The importance to elderly abuse would be is to make sure they get the right and best treatment, Make sure they are taking all of their medication that is prescribed to them. Bathing is a must because if

If the funds have been set for that purpose, family members can divide the budget by doing the tasks themselves rather than hiring someone. When having the elder patient at the home makes it a lot easier to help with that person better or a daily basis and watch his action. It is more convenient than having to travel to another place to visit. There is a long waiting process that nursing home and other institutional settings are not getting the right treatment and they do not take care of the elder as good as the family members would.
