DO GIRLS HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET EDUCATED? WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS? According to me a girls have the right to be educated. This may help the woman to support her own family. She can also take part with the male in the important affairs and take decisions of her day to day life. If suddenly the husband dies under any circumstances, then an educated woman will have the potential to bring up her children on her own without any external authority’s help. Why can’t people notice what females have done for our country. If A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has become the president of India, even Pratibha Patil has. If Sachin Tendulkar has brought India up in sports, even P.T. Usha has won medals in the Olympics. If Ratan Tata and Anil Ambani are great industrialists even Simon Tata and Parmeshwar Godrej are nowhere behind. So what if Rakesh Sharma and Neil Armstrong have visited the space even Kalpana Chawala and Sunita Williams has seen the space. If Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are bollywood actors even Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Bachchan have won the hearts of the people. So what if Bhagat Singh and Gandhiji fought for freedom even Sarojini Naidu and Jhansi Ki Rani did! Women are nowhere at the rear, but right ahead of men. Then why should women be denied the right to get educated? Nowadays the people have started to understand the importance of education. So today in the 21st century the scenario has partially changed, there is a reduced amount of discrimination between girls and boys. Both are treated equally. Both are given the right to get educated. In some rural areas some parents still think that the birth of a daughter is inauspicious and according to current updates people have been throwing their new born daughters into the garbage dumps or on railway tracks.
