Purpose: Purpose of this assignment is to study advantages of international expansion of a company and how beneficial it will be to the company. It will cover market analysis and competitor’s analysis is important for any company to know the market well before entering. It will give a forecast of what are the challenges and we can work on the possible solutions. It will also cover PEST analysis to know how political, environmental, social and technological factors will affect the product. The cultural factors of particular country will help to understand the feasibility of the product. The product is coffee and company is “café coffee day”. Reasons for international expansion plan: Every company has its reasons to compete in international market. The most obvious reason of any company can be obtaining new customers. Selling goods and services to people outside their domestic market will be appealing to company as the domestic market is saturated for them. • Foreign Income: It will bring foreign income to the country and company will get more profits. • Sales: This will extend the sales life of existing product by finding new market to sell them. • International platform: It provides new business opportunities and new market to extend the business. • Competition: The level of competition will be now on large scale it will be with companies worldwide. • Upgradation: It gives chance to upgrade technology and marketing skills and be a leader in domestic and global market.
