TDA 2.6 TASK (3.1) (3.4) Describe why teamwork is important in schools 3.1 Describe why team work is important in schools. Outstanding, efficient and effective, teamwork allows the school as a whole to run effectively and achieve excellent results not only for you but also for others. It helps to build a positive relationship with those that are within your team. When there is team work, responsibilities and tasks are shared and are completed more effectively and also in a good time scale. In a school there are many other people to consider as your team rather than just the people you work with closely on a daily basis.
The purpose of letters as a business are to inform members of the public about things within the organisation. An advantage of using letters is that it can be filled with important information and it can be set and layout clearly. A disadvantage of letters is that the person who is meant to receive the letter might not receive it, maybe due to the postman not delivering the correct letter to the right house. This proves that although letters are a good source of communication, it is not completely reliable as the letter may get lost. Letters can be a big asset to businesses because it can inform many people about important and useful information but it is not the most important written source of communication.
It also can make it easier than in the past for a student who switches schools, because now schools broadly have to follow a similar curriculum. The national curriculum was introduced to enable assessment, which also helped to compile league tables. League tables (1988 education act) are another change that has helped the education system. League tables are used to compare the academic achievements of different institutions and parents can use them to decide which school they want their child(ren) to go to. Using league tables is a good thing as if you want your child to go to a good school, you can chose the one most suitable with good education and exam results.
its also an easier and faster way of sharing and promoting business sources. For example if sgs college wanted to introduce new course or events ,they could use face book ,in informing new applicants or students about It. This is the best method because its quicker and faster way of communicating and advertising to students . And very Important because its create awareness for new applicants as well as regular students of what courses are being introduced and how it will affect them positively. Videos : This could also be a way of spreading and giving out information around sgs college .This could be Both external and internal because ,there could be a staff or workers meeting using a video to explain the reestablishment of a new building and externally a video to inform students about what the new renovated building is going to used for .This could be done on websites and the importance about this is because its gives a clear knowledge of what is being or going to happen and its easy to follow since its gots pictures and objects in it .
Not only is this beneficial to the public, private, and charter school system, but for the homeschooling children as well as children with learning disabilities. Acquire or Develop Talent Tanglewood should acquire talent, because it wants to keep performance and customer service at high levels. In addition, while old stores under Tanglewood have the same basic look, the management styles and human resource can use some improvements. Acquire talent is very helpful for new stores, because employees would “hit the ground running” and be at the peak performance the moment they arrive. Hire Yourself or Outsource Personally, I think Tanglewood should hire itself. Outsourcing is more practical for small and medium companies.
Positive relationships enable information to be communicated far more effectively. Working in a school this will benefit pupils when you are dealing with parents or carers as they will be more willing to get involved in the child or young person’s education and care. Building and maintaining positive relationships and effective communication with pupils will help them know and understand what is expected of them and acceptable boundaries. In order to develop positive relationships with children, young people and adults effective communication is vital. To effectively communicate we must: • think consciously (everyone is an individual) • explain (be clear, use appropriate language) • listen actively ( occasional nods and eye contact) • be true to our word (say what you mean, mean what you say) • recall (repeat snippets of what has been said to you) • have empathy (non-bias understanding of others situations) • clarify and question (ask the other party if they understand what you have said ) • body language (your own and reading the other persons) Not putting the above skills into practice will create barriers to effective communication and positive
Sometimes conflict can occur when communication is misunderstood. With effective communication you are able to resolve conflicts, build harmony and bridge communication gaps which create conflict. Effective communication between adult’s help people understand what they want and expect from each other. This helps to build strong personal and professional relationships between them. When they have this positive relationship, they are less likely to be unnecessarily competitive but they work together as a team sharing ideas and using the same principles across the school.
Technological resources would include things like Computers, photocopiers, Fax machine, Phones, interactive boards, projectors and security barriers. All of these different pieces of technology would help business improve performance because the photocopier allows the staff to copy multiple documents in short amount of time instead of having to write each pager. Computers allow staff to make documents like presentations, letters, spread sheet and database much more easily than writing each, which helps to saves the business time and more importantly money. Interactive boards would help improve a business’s performance because it would help during meeting by enabling staff to display what they want to their colleagues in a controlled and easy environment, instead of having to print out documents for everyone in attendance to have to read what he was
As well as the professors, the parents are a huge success in the children’s success in an institution. According to Rachel Williams, writer of “Middle-class Children Do Better at School Because Of Parents,” claims middle-class pupils do better because parents and schools put more effort into their education; thus children from poorer backgrounds were not predisposed to work less hard, but parents’ attitudes were most important, making more of a difference than schools
