They are turning to a more unfamiliar way of helping themselves and their families. Adults are going back to school to update or expand their knowledge and help better themselves in the workforce. Today, older students are facing new and challenging issues in college classes, which younger students do not, due to recent schooling and knowledge of technology. As computer technology advances every day, older students are struggling to understand, as they are unfamiliar with computer use. Computers did not exist in their generation, so they never learned to how to use them.
He implied that the Americans have been wasting too many resources. However, after a few years, he became one of the victims of affluenza. He has vowed for raising the economy without thinking if it is a good thing to the Americans. The idea of article pursuit for more money or goods has been set deeply in Americans’ minds. It has caused us and our next generations loose the balance of the value in our lives.
Recently growth has been restricted, due in part to recent fines from state and government agencies for poorly kept records for both clients and employees. Recently APremium has not been able to respond to the staffing demands of the newer clients in remote regions, their employee lists have become overwhelming and very difficult to filter through in time to be useful in responding to staffing deficiencies on short notice. The field staff has been complaining that payroll is always late and many of the skilled laborers are threatening to leave. APremium is seeking another contract with a very delicate group of clients who require premium care and attention to code. This contract can increase their business by 75%.
Twenge says, “There’s this idea that, ‘Yeah, I don’t want to work, but I’m still going to get all the stuff I want” (Peck 303). Some young adults have not even left their home before. They enjoy staying at home and not realizing that they should go out to find jobs. The main reason why young adults do not want to work is that their parents still guide them like children. Today, millions young adults are facing real problems: lack of job opportunities, housing, and trying to survive in a fast, globalized world.
America is continuously altered the cutback in jobs that are still obtainable by high paid craftsman/women. Multiple individuals have gone without employment due to the decrease in the cost-cutting measure that our society is currently going though. However, these individuals workers are incapable to find employment within a new employer they seek employment with a current workforce. Due to the increase in quantified craftsman/women employees who try to take legal action or try to sue partners/employers that they work for of past employers are altering the way they manage to try to put a stop to any past/present employers. Procrastination is damaging the careers, health, and there economics for most Americans who are not enthusiastic of what’s surrounding them. In the article “I’ll Do It Tomorrow” by Trisha Gura Gives us examples of how people procrastinate and results in having a negative punishment. Procrastination makes it worse when you are in a place where it’s an obligation of you’re part to complete what is assigned to you. Some people rather play with there finger nails, with there pen, or look at other things that would make time go faster and overlook the gadget assigned to you. Procrastination has been around as long as humankind has been existing, but the only deference is the way we are being punished.
There are numerous contributing factors that make this even harder on the population of Mohave County to survive. The need is evident with the growing rate of people only surviving because of benefits like food stamps and unemployment checks that things need to change. This is even more of an issue right now with the government shutting down and putting a stop to programs like WIC and possibly food stamps. The need is for there to be more available positions. The reasons this occurs is due to numerous factors like the number of companies going out of business, lack of job growth, future plans for job growth does not meet the need, founding father’s not allowing large business to come to town, education level of community, sales tax is high, and average household income is low.
This is a potential reason for the high turnover rate, as low-level employees are more likely to be transient. The results also showed that the majority of the sample was more dissatisfied, than satisfied with company operations. The qualitative data showed more negative responses (1 and 2) versus positive or middle ground responses. Employees feared losing their job and felt they were not being compensated fairly. Also, the majority of the employees surveyed did not enjoy their assigned shift nor did they feel they were given the proper tools to perform their jobs effectively.
However, there is a major concern inside of the workforce. On average men earn more money than woman working in the same career position. This should be an outrage to business women everywhere. On the other hand, the gender hierarchy starts way before men and women enter their career field. Unfortunately, in thier adolescent years, girls and boys are influenced to take classes that are deemed appropriate for their gender.
