From day one of conception to day of birth, the child should be deemed a living being. Abortion carries many cons, the biggest being the definition of murder. When a human being takes another adults life, they are tried for their crime. Aborting an unborn child is the same concept, but sadly not view this way by most. The child has no say in what is happening, and the worst part of the procedure is it has been proven that the fetus can feel everything that is happening to it during an abortion.
Abortion Kourtni Birgy English 111 Argumentative Essay Abortion: Pro-life or Pro-choice? Today, abortion is a big issue concerning women because for years it has been said that abortion should not be legal. Many people feel aborting an unwanted child, or killing an unwanted child should be against the law. I feel that even though it is the woman’s body, she is carrying another body inside of her. It is not her own life that she is taking.
I think it's sick how someone can kill their own baby. If they didn't want one in the first place then they shouldn't be having unprotected sex with everyone. Then if the baby lives then what. How are they going to explain that they weren't supooses to live, or are they just going to kill it anyways by neglecting the baby. If a women gets pregnant and doesn't want it then I think she should consider giving it up for adoption.
Pregnant women will get abortions because they do not like the sex of the baby or because they just don’t want a baby. At the same time, the same females will get pregnant time after time and will abort the baby because they don’t want it. There are plenty of loving families who cannot get pregnant and will adopt their babies, in most cases will even pay for all the prenatal care (http://www.adopthelp.com). Some of the pro-life supporters believe that in certain situations abortions are necessary to save a life. The law to illegalize abortion will have an exception to certain cases.
I believe that abortion is wrong because you are killing a being that would have a future like ours; additionally you are causing pains and sufferings for yourself that you have to go through for a few days. Absolutists who look at each situation relatively, such as Roman Catholics apply their knowledge to the sanctity of life, and strongly believe that life begins when an egg is fertilised by a sperm and all babies have a soul from the moment of conception. Nevertheless if you abort a foetus then you are contradicting the Ten Commandments ‘’ do not murder’’ as you are murdering a human, as abortion is artificially ending the life of a foetus of the womb. In spite of that you are allowed to abort only if the mother is in risk of dying. Relativist like Church of England teaches that abortion is only acceptable in exceptional circumstances such as a mother’s life is at risk.
One should never take the life of another, its murder. However, can one put their self in the shoes of someone who has actually had to face abortion? Someone who has had to deal with the pain and despair that comes with the choice. Instead of judging the choice she made, why not think “why?” Should the reader look down upon a woman for her choice to have an abortion with out looking at her reasoning behind why it is she chose that path? It is something one should think about before passing judgment, which people are so quick to do.
According to the Concerned Women for America (CWA), easy access to abortion kills innocent life (Williams, par.2). There are many other reasons that follow this. From the biblical aspect, the Holy Bible condemns “baby murder” as a capital crime (Bernay. par.3). Abortions can also sterilize a woman, which can potentially avert her from being able to give birth later on down the line
A fetus solely depends on a woman for survival, while a human being can operate on his own without the nurturing from a woman’s body. Because of this difference, the question remains: can pro-life activists refer to abortion as legalized murder? In the case of in vitro fertilization, fertilized eggs that are not implanted into the woman’s body are thrown away. If abortion is considered murder, then should not this be considered murder as well? What about in the case of rape, incest, or threat to the woman’s life?
Abortion An abortion is ending a pregnancy before the unborn child is able to live outside of his/her mother. If a woman was to have an abortion before reaching twenty-four weeks is considered a miscarriage; if the woman is beyond the twenty-four weeks then she is having an abortion to deliberately end her pregnancy. Women tend to get abortions due to lack of protection, not ready to be responsible for another human being or unfortunately the woman was raped and doesn’t want to have the rapiers child. Some who believe in abortion use it as a way of birth control and the others who don’t believe in abortion find it as murdering an unborn child. Abortion is a very emotional and personal circumstance to handle, but with anyone it has to be taken
There are many cases in which people can argue that a woman became pregnant due to rape and whether or not abortion should be legal. If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, she does not need to keep the child, but carry through with the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption. There are families that are unable to have children. Those that are able to have children, but not have ways and means to love and nurture the child should make it available for the child to have a home with parents that want a child. Although the options are not endless, there are many things that can be done.
