Laziness is a disease that almost all suffer from, for example, students often ditch classes, don’t do their homework and fall asleep in class. Another philosopher, Plato, believed that a democratic like government was a bad idea. He agreed that if everyone had a say in decisions, than nothing would get done. This doesn’t only apply in government, but also in the classroom. When students are allowed to work together, they get less done because most of their time is spent talking with friends.

The top three reasons I believe urban students do not perform as well as their peers in other communities are strained home life, cultural influences that do not support education and behavioral disturbances in the classroom. Family life in the urban environment is about survival. Many families are exhausted and see the school as a place where their children go during the day to get what they are not capable of giving them. Sickness and school is what has gotten me to my mental state. I suffer from migraines which when I have them effects my concentration and sight (makes things fuzzy etc) so when I have a migraine I can’t go to school because the only way to get rid of it is to rest it off. An individual that’s not a parent can even take place in a child’s life that’s going through these situations. They can set aside different activities and even coach them on ways in reducing an overweight problem.
