I quickly began to attend college classes through my employer to make gains in my career and try to possibly secure my future. I had no idea until this point the many advantages that college was going to provide for me if I allowed it to. Continuing on in the job I had accepted it opened opportunities to study courses to get me promoted and increase my wages which bettered my lifestyle for me and my family and made things easier. I had finally found a job that I was happy in and chances to increase my thirst for knowledge as I could continue my education as long as I wanted. I finally had self- confidence and the drive to make the most of my career as I neared completion of Banker’s College.
Although both authors prove strong points it is obvious that whether your choice is college or trade school, as long as you apply yourself you will be guaranteed future success. “The individual benefits that college graduates enjoy, including high levels of savings, increased personal/professional mobility, improved quality of life for their offspring, better consumer decision making, and more hobbies and leisure activities” (Porter, 494). Porter is explaining that a college educated individual will have a life full of endless opportunities, and a strong set of morals. A college degree is valued in our society, and we are led to believe it’s a staple for our success socially and economical. Attending college can boost your confidence giving you a piece of mind knowing you have a solid educational background.
Having a college degree makes living the American Dream a lot easier, and it helps you grow as an adult and teaches you leadership roles. Another benefit of being smart is that I have a chance to go to a better college or university. As a result if I get into a better college, I can get a better job. Furthermore I can get a better carrier because some colleges are specialized in the carrier I want. Also if I were more intelligent I would pass my classes in college with high scores. There are many reasons obtaining a college education is important including gaining a sense of self-fulfillment, acquiring an increase in salary, and allowing myself to be a better role model for my children. In today’s market technology is constantly changing and companies are hiring people with college degrees to make a difference within organizations. The purpose of this paper is to state the reasons a college education is important to me, and the tremendous benefit it poses.
A diverse campus adds to the college experience, prepares us for life after college, and makes us more sociable people. The way a college’s diverse campus adds to the college experience is simple, diversity on a campus allows us to get out of our comfort zone and affiliate with new people. Diversity also adds to the college experience in the ways it permits us to see and more fully understand other people’s hobbies, backgrounds, and religions we may have never encountered before. Therefore a diverse college campus lets us as students have the full college experience. An equally as essential benefit of a diverse campus is that it prepares us for our life outside of college after we graduate.

In addition, people who move to a different country are also able to study and become a professional. There are lots of opportunities for them, such as getting enrolled in a community college, which is cheaper than a university and easier to get in; they can also receive financial aid.
