What I Expect From a Sorority

Coming into college I expect a sorority to stress responsibility, respectability, and time management. Also, after receiving three elected positions as President, Historian, and Dance Coordinator, I definitely expect to mainly adapt to time management. Responsibility is the state or fact of being accountable for something. I expect to be responsible for my elected position’s duties and be definite everything is performed correctly. If my tasks are not done on time or the appropriate way, I presume the consequences set forth from my undoing. Being President, especially, my pledge mom and line sisters rely on me to be responsible for organizing and contacting them for mandatory meetings. I expect to hold a lot of responsibility from a sorority and responsibility is what I’ll fulfill. Respectability is appropriate to good or proper behavior or conventional conduct. I expect to pay the utmost respect for all the big sisters in Alpha Kappa Delta Phi in any place and time. In a closed, confined area I presume all the big sisters want to be addressed properly by their pledge name. In a public area, I am expected to acknowledge all sisters with a subtle left-handed gesture over the heart. I expect to respect all big sisters of Alpha Kappa Delta Phi as if they were all my blood and respectability is what I’ll fulfill. Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. I expect to learn the most about time management and planning out my days consecutively. I presume to follow the motto “Five minutes before is early, on time is late, and late is unacceptable.” I expect to organize my time and time management is what I’ll
