Help can be a step very difficult to give, but it is the first step to have a quieter family life. The Child abuse is surely among the most serious and complex problems sonorants modern society. The quality of life of many children is deeply damaged by the abuse they experience in the home environment, the consequences of which can seriously affect the physical and psychosocial development of the child. The emotional damage as a result of child abuse can also last for the rest of life, severely limiting the ability of adults to the personal and social adjustment. Child abuse is one of the most serious social problems and dramatic damage to our society.

One U.S. study found that parents with documented substance abuse, most commonly alcohol, cocaine, and heroin, were much more likely to mistreat their children, and were also much more likely to reject court-ordered services and treatments (Besharov, 1990). Children with a history of neglect or physical abuse are at risk of developing psychiatric problems, or a disorganized attachment style. Research shows that bullying is a very controversial subject that can be seen as a crime to some but not to others depending on the nature and severity of the bullying. It is a widespread problem that unfortunately most children have to go through at some point in their lives. Bullying is a conscious, wilful, deliberate, hostile and repeated behaviour by one or more people which is intended to harm others. What do people in today’s society really think of bullying? What can they do to help these victims?
Such kids could grow up in anger and result in more violence. The current happenings in society is perhaps a reflection of all the hurts inflicted at such a tender age. A common feature among the young is that they rarely forget. Many are able to remember worse experiences they went through while young. Spanking is however still widely used as a means to punish kids across the world.
Behavioral theory states that people act aggressively because, as children, they modeled their behavior after the violent acts of adults. When they get older, they become antisocial. As a child when they were awarded for doing things, they thought it was good and it became habitual and the behavior that is punished becomes extinguished. A sub branch of behavioral theory is social learning theory. They act violently when people pick on them, threaten them, or they are exposed to direct pain.
Spanking your child without telling your child what they did wrong or why they are being punished can leave a child feeling unloved and undeseable. Some parents have been known to torment their child for every little thing they have done wrong, instead of using spanking as a form of discipline. Parents that have not been properly taught by other parents before them on the proper way to spank, can spank their child too much and have a child becoming violent and non good person for the society. A spanking should be a last recur. A parent should first explain to their child what he/she did wrong.
In the article “Just whom is this Divorce good for? By Marquart she explains, “We found that children of so- called “good” divorces often do worse even than children of unhappy low- conflict marriages. They say more often, that family life was stressful and they had to grow up to soon. They are themselves more likely to divorce and children of divorce feel like divided selves”. I would have to agree with that because I am actually going through my parents getting a divorce and when I found out I didn’t want to believe it at all I didn’t want to see my parents split up it just wasn’t right to me.
For example, “The emotional responses of children who witness domestic violence may include fear, guilt, shame, sleep disturbances, sadness, depression, and anger (Domestic Violence Round Table, 2015).” It is evidently clear that children who come from abusive families may incur problems later in life as they establish and build personal and private relationships. For example, children that are exposed to their mother who is verbally, physically, or sexually abused may develop problematic relationships because of experienced aggression. This aggression may be taken out on peers, or even their own mother. When a child continuously is a witness in seeing their mother abused in any way, chances are they may display or express
The two stories contrast in content, but help Jones come to the conclusion that “it’s helped hundreds of people for everyone its hurt” (287). By using these personal stories, Jones makes a valid point in his argument defending the imagination of children and their violent stories. “Violent media is a big issue in the world today.” (285) Society is about the effect of violent media on the upbringing of today’s children. For instance, society has fears that children who are exposed to violent media will grow to be violent people, giving way to a violent society. However, Gerald Jones, in his argument “violent media is good for kids”, says that in contrary to what the society believes, or is made to believe, violent media builds strong, courageous and effective group in the society.
