Prompt Many teens and young adults have personal music players, such as MP3s, that allow them to take their favorite music with them wherever they go. Such devices require earbuds, and users can often be seen with at least one earbud firmly in place, listening to music as they go about their daily business. Some critics of these music players, however, argue that users tend to be isolated in the world of their music. Users, these critics say, do not really pay attention to what is going on around them; and they behave rudely when they carry on conversations with others while wearing at least one earbud. It would not be able to cut back his hours and taking a class that is not required would take a lot of his time. The Study Skills class requires note taking in his current classes. This would allow him to put more attention on the note taking and possible less understanding of the material for the specific class. Which could possibly distract him and lose his focus. However, Study Skills comes with many important reasons to keep the class.
Students will be less focused in school, and less likely to continue their educations, if they dread going to school each day. Including art and music in he curriculum will motivate students, and will inspire them to enjoy school. It will also give them a creative outlet. Many young people have trouble expressing their emotions in words, but find that the can communicate their ideas through music and art. Giving students an opportunity to create every day will keep them engaged in learning, keep frustration at bay, and lead to happier, more fulfilled children.

Going through life without the knowledge of what else is out there besides “good” in people can be harsh for some people especially for kids. Kids would not be able to handle life too well in the real world, if the whole time when they were younger they were being protected from all the "bad things" and “bad people.” Many people decide to do what they think is best for the safety of children, but in reality when kids grow up to be adults sometimes it harms them in more ways than helping them. Books shouldn't be banned from society, but some books do have suggestive content or profanity. When the so-called “negative parts” of the books remain, kids gain knowledge of what is and what is not good to do, say, or act.

In fact there is rare evidence that the opposite is true. However, this does not seem so important for 2 reasons. First, no one is really doing anything huge about it besides, some schools have already started to encourage educators who are musicians but to do not teach music at their schools, to volunteer their time to guide students to becoming involved with music and art. Secondly, much of the research which encompasses a different viewpoint than the creative arts is more useful than math, seems to lean more towards drawing a connection between the creative arts and other subjects, showing that the creative arts do make students smarter but that it is still more important to be good in all other subjects as well. Plus teens wouldn’t be as broke, because they are not getting in trouble by the cops and getting minors. By getting a minor, it can ruin their whole life. If one got a minor in college, it may prevent them from getting a very good job in the future, it they were to look at their record.
