Land Pollution In China Abstract: Land pollution is a server problem in China. Although not as significantly as the air pollution, it's actually effecting our daily life, the pollution in land would affect the water and the agricultural products. Government had put an eye on this situation, but the land is getting more and more polluted annually. Aiming at the present situation, the essay will focus on the scale of land pollution in China, the characteristics of soil pollution, and analyze the reason of these pollution. Definition of Land pollution Land pollution refers to a variety of pollutants produced by human activities through various channels into the land. When the pollutant is accumulating faster than the soil's purification capacity, the balance in the soil environment would be destroy. Soil pollution is one of the top three global environmental pollution elements (air, water and soil). Soil pollution based on the environment and human impact can lead to soil composition, structure and function changes. Due to the deterioration, the soil would become dysfunction. 2.Land pollution in China: 2.1Main soil contamination has the following four categories: ①Chemical contaminants. Including inorganic and organic pollutants. The former, such as mercury, cadmium, lead, arsenic and other heavy metals; Or nitrogen, phosphorus the elements that can work as plant nutrients as well as oxides and sulfides; the latter as a variety of chemical pesticides, petroleum and its cleavage products, as well as other types of organic synthesis products, etc. ② Physical contaminants.
