This fields of psychology helps educationalists in their day to day decision making and help them to deal with their activities in a better way. It is important to look upon on the significance and the importance of education psychology, the cognitive development in children by Jean Piaget, Moral development by Lawerence Kohlberg and the Social development theory by Eric Ericson. According to Piaget the result of a child’s thinking is based on the factors; Biological maturation, the present level of intellectual working figures out what information we can develop from our encounters. Discovering the surrounds vigorously makes the child gather new information through self-studying and this is mainly done through forming schemas during the early stage of life. Knowledge gained through group activities are more prominent during the later stage of childhood when the children are able to logically think which lead them towards intelligent collaboration between peers. Self-control is the ability to keep a balance between the current knowledge and the recently acquired knowledge. Assimilation; the acquisition of new data to the existing information and accommodation; alterations done for the existing schemas where there are discrepancies to present schemas are two main ways in which intellectual adaptation can be achieved in order to sustain equilibration. Piaget introduced 4 cognitive developmental stages where the cognitive structure and the development is different from one stage to another. During the Sensorimotor stage which is from birth to 2 years insight is shown through engine action without the utilization of images. Information of the world is restricted (yet creating) in light of the fact that it’s taking into account physical cooperation/encounters.
