Here, Duffy is showing that when the geography lesson has finished and the children have had a break they forget what they’ve been taught (‘rubbed into dust’ meaning that the knowledge is gone), the chalky pyramids alluding to the geography lesson. This stanza emphasises the happiness of children of that age. ‘This was better than home. Enthralling books. The classroom glowed like a sweetshop.’ These opening two lines of the second stanza show once again the happiness and excitement of the children.

If the student has learning disabilities, they will not tell anybody because they are too embarrassed to mention them and they struggle throughout school; they don’t ask for help. The second reason that high school grads are unable to read is failure of school systems. Schools are overpopulated and crowded and ones that are in large populated areas are more focused on academic functions then the curriculum of learning. They don’t have enough teachers or teacher’s assistants to give each individual one on one time to learn the material. Students don’t have that support from the teacher that they need to succeed in school.

Additionally, it has given me the tools that are key to a future brimming with bliss and stability. Another of my best accomplishments is the humbling, endearing experience of volunteering in a small, public, elementary school known as Kensington Elementary. I was deeply moved by the school children who congenially reached out to me with open arms and wide open hearts; their overwhelming friendliness struck me as peculiar being that I had just met these children. By the same hand, I had never felt so inferior because they constantly thanked me for the smallest things; these ranged from my visitation to tying one child's shoe to "making them feel special and important." What had begun as a simple need for volunteer hours ended bringing me down to my knees in sheer amazement at the intimate encounter.
Teachers have such a tremendous impact on their students by being more than just an educator. A teacher is a role model. A teacher is a supporter. A teacher sees the best in all her students. A teacher is often your child’s number one fan.
My sixth grade year was amazing. I got the most amazing teachers. My teachers were Mrs. Mabe and Mrs. Davis. They always helped me when I didn't understand but even when they tried to help me and I didnt get it they gave me a lot of examples and made me do them myself. They never let us fail.
Mathematics is hard for students who cannot remember things too well. Because there are so many strategies in mathematics and students have to go through all these processes. Students with a bad memory will forgot what to do. Thirdly, students do not like some subject is because of classroom environments. For example, students who cannot see the teacher or the board from their seats may not understand a concept being taught, while students who are overly cold or warm may not be able to concentrate.
