My name is Richard Couch. I am a self-motivated individual who needs little to no supervision. I have an outgoing personality and easy to get along with. I am a natural leader of people. When in doubt, I will not hesitate to get advice because failure is not an option to me. Some of the challenges that I will be faced with will be how to juggle a full time job, family and schooling. The reason for going back to school is not only to further my education for future work but also to be more proficient in assisting my children with their schoolwork. Technology has progressed to a point where I feel that I need do something to help me keep pace with the changing world. It’s been 30 years since I attended school, I am fearful that I won’t be able to do the assignments in proper format or how to maximize the full potential of the computer. These are some of the major challenges that I am facing. I believe that as a Manager in the work force, that I have a good understanding as how to prioritize my workload. This will enable me to overcome some of the obstacles that I face. I also learned many years ago that if I didn’t understand something, all I had to do was ask and someone would help me understand the task at hand. Dealing with children gives me the patience needed when I do not understand a subject. One of my strongest strengths is the ability to take a negative and make it positive.
