I have been in school since kindergarten when I was about five years old. I started out loving school. However, each year I would go to the next grade, I would gradually start to not like school at all. My first six years in school I spent at Eastover-Central Elementary School. I was there from kindergarten until I reached the fifth grade. Eastover-Central was a great school and by far the best elementary school in the county. The man that made Eastover such an outstanding school was Mr. Tatum, the best principle ever in my opinion. My favorite teachers throughout my years at Eastover were Ms. Phelps and Mrs. Hedgecoe. I liked Ms. Phelps so much because she was into sports just as much as I was. Her favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers just like mine was. Therefore, we got along every day and never got into an argument one time. On the other hand, Mrs. Hedgecoe was my other favorite teacher because my mom cut her hair and I had known her forever. Also, she was my fifth grade math teacher and math was my favorite subject back then. During my time at Eastover-Central I learned a tremendous amount about myself. Stuff I didn’t even know that I was capable of doing, I did. Every day after lunch we would go outside for thirty minutes. My friends and I played soccer every day there until they took the nets down because a kid got his foot wrapped in the net and broke his ankle. Now that I look back on my elementary school years, I realized I enjoyed every minute of it. After I attended Eastover-Central I went to Mac Williams Middle School for the next three years of my teenage life. There I was, finally in middle school. I was so anxious to attend Mac Williams because I knew we would have a lot more freedom there.
