I’ve went to school with her since we were in the seventh grade. My first week at Little Caesars was tough. There was a lot
After about a year, Kanan is back and playing on the Varsity Soccer Team. Not only is he working hard every practice and every game, but he now realizes how lucky he is to have the ability to play once again. “I see john working as hard as he can on the field but I also notice that while he is giving everything he has, he is in a lot of pain,” said Andrew Cornwall ’14. Even Today Kanan is having minor difficulties with his knee, but luckily he was gifted with a successful recovery. “I never realized how fortunate I was to be able to play soccer without having a constant pain in my knee,” said Kanan.
Sam’s a very nice girl and she hopes for the best in her life and to do good, I’m glad I met her because I would of never really knew what type of person she is, she’s great no wonder she has so many friends that love her to death and enjoy being around her, what can I say from the creepiest things that happen to her at night to her annoying brother brothering her all the time she’s a wonderful
Chelsea Flippin Around-Then Poem 9-1-12 Mrs. Killen Around the summer of 2003 my brother joined the Young Marines. He stuck through the hardships of boot camp and encouraged me to follow in his footsteps. Around fall of 1999 I stepped onto that grass field for the first time, not knowing that this could be my escape from the world. I was a natural. I now have been invited by two colleges and counting to play on their soccer team, which is amazing, and could take the future debt out of my hands.
I took the regents for the third time in January 2011 and again, I didn’t pass. I continued taking the Algebra II Trigonometry class after school, and again took the regents in June of 2011. I passed all my other regents tests including Geometry that month and when I got my results for the Algebra II Trigonometry Regents, I started crying. I finally passed. I was so happy that I didn’t have to worry about the stress of this topic anymore.
My favorite grade in middle school was the eighth grade. The reasons were that I made the A&B honor roll for the sixth time, I was proud of myself and I believed that I could do everything through the faith that I have in my heart. I met interesting people that were cool, and I started participating in school
Running cross-country, as a junior in high school is different from running it in middle school. I was one of the best runners while I was in seventh and eight grade. This changed at my first practice with the high school team. Coach Sorrells talked about the course since the first practice in may, this is the state-meet course, and that it is important to do well. Everyone was concentrating on Carrolton.
She loved every one of us and made us all feel special. My P.E. teacher’s name was Ms. Lubbe she loved sports and was really nice to all of us. She helped a lot if you didn’t know how to play a sport. My computers teacher was Mrs. Grossl.
Cross Country Not many people know what a 5k or cross country is. To sum it up it’s a 3.2 mile run threw just about every terrain imaginable. It’s a race of endurance and mental strength, and anyone who is competitive would love cross country just as much as I do. I started cross country in the 7th grade and placed in varsity all the way threw 12th grade and it wasn’t a easy ride, I couldn’t even count how many 5k’s I ran but my very first 5k will always be in my mind till the day I die. As a middle school runner I mainly ran 3ks which was ran on the same course as high school but was only 1.8 miles.
It was not until my Sunday school teacher told me that "Everyone falls sometime in life; it is the strong and determined that will get back up and start over again". From that very moment I did my best at whatever I did, whether school, sports, or being a leader. The second time I repeated the 7th grade I achieved A/B honor roll the entire year. Due to my accomplishment, the principal offered me the opportunity of being placed in my correct grade. Though this was a wonderful opportunity I decided to decline the offer.
