I/ Introduction We have chosen to present Ladurée Company, which is specialized in making macaroons. This company belongs to the group Holder, a family society. This brand is the reflection of Parisian pastries. It was created in 1862, by Ernest Ladurée, the first pastry was implanted in Paris. It is recognized as the “Manufacturer of sweets since 1862”. There are 5 parts in our presentation of Ladurée Company. First of all we will talk about the history of the company, secondly we will describe the company, and thirdly, we will see its competitors, target, and also its consumers. Then we will describe its internalization and finally we will see what we could bring to the company if we were bosses. II/ Company history  House Ladurée’s History The history began in 1862 (eighteen sixty two), when Louis Ernest Ladurée created a bakery in Paris. In 1871, when Haussmann transformed Paris, there is a fire in the bakery and Ladurée turns into a pastry. The decoration of the pastry shop was realized by Jules Chéret. He painted on the roofs angels and in particular the "Pastry angel" who later became Ladurée’s symbol. Souchard Jeanne, Ernest Ladurée’s wife got the idea to mix two atmospheres: the Parisian café and the pastry, and she created one of first tearoom in the capital. In 1993 (nineteen ninety three), David Holder decided to buy, promote and expand the famous Ladurée. The macaroon is the emblematic product of Ladurée : it’s a little round cake, soft and crunchy. III/ Company description  Products : - Main products of Ladurée are macaroons. We can found it in all flavors! Chocolate - Vanilla - Coffee - Rose Petals - Pistachio - Raspberry - Salted butter caramel - Red Fruit - Lemon and MORE!
