Once I am in SWAG other students will realize this and might want to achieve like me and try to be in SWAG. While in SWAG I will let younger students know that it doesn't matter what age you are to become a leader. Also, I will become an elite member of SWAG. I have a great GPA and can really speak for the students to make this school better. I could take ideas and listen to the students.
Competency Statement III To support social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance, I will supply children with an emotionally and physically safe and secure environment in which they will thrive, being able to develop their own sense of self. I will do this by smiling and greeting all children and their parents each and every morning. I will always address each child by their name. I will make sure every child gets some one on one attention when I can express appropriate physical touch and enjoyment in them being in my classroom. I will get to know each child, establish relationships with parents, and support their strengths as well as their needs.
This in turn should create a caring, happy atmosphere in the school which can enable effective teaching and learning. The school has its own code of conduct which all members of the school are to support. The school code of conduct is as follows; This is our school we will: • look after everything in and around it • follow instructions first time • always do our best work and let others do the same • treat everyone as we would like them to treat us • move sensibly round school and always walk inside. The school looks out for positive behaviour done by pupils and emphasis is placed on the acknowledgement of this. There is to be a clear understanding by staff, pupils are parents of what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.
Dear: National Junior Honor Society Committee I currently represent the “Character” Trait of NJHS by being honest to others and very workable with my fellow peers. Many people rely on me as a very good person to come to in a great time of need. I deeply care for my family and other people. I also listen to others ideas to help improve their idea or to help make it a reality. I will use all of these characteristics to help this organization reach out to people in need.
Wiki Reflection Robert Jameson University of Phoenix EDL/515 – Organizational Leadership Shannon Molnar May 17, 2012 My personal level of strength within the structural frame is my ability to get along well with most individuals. Because I am very goal oriented and have a relative easy personality, most of my co-workers enjoy working with me. As a teacher leader, I believe that continuing my education and collaborating with other professionals is the key to personal growth. Many of the programs I currently use, such as teachertools.com and superteacher.com I have shared with my coworkers who love them. Another area I am embarking upon is to help me grow is establishing a student council.
Inclusion of all students is important. If they feel intimidated in class they can come to me afterwards and ask a question in private. If they leave my class happy, I feel they have learnt something. It is very important for the students to know they have the support of the teacher and feel confident in the knowledge that any information given to the teacher is treated in
Being an RA/CA will help improve me being much more responsible with a job. Whenever I have a job I am responsible. But I feel as though I can never be more responsible. I take any job I have seriously. I hope to be a great asset to the school.
Why it should be valued Diversity should be valued because nobody is completed the same as everybody else. By respecting and valuing the Diversity this can help growth within that person and also within the workplace as they will learn from each other and will be able to be their selves. Within the workplace we make sure that all the students and staff are treated equally. Everyone will have something to offer to the workplace and have strong/skills that they will be able to contribute to the School. This will make the workplace friendlier and welcome to work in.
All children should feel secure. Strong school ethos and established routines. Make Positive Contributions All children should be encourage to take part, even if what they are saying is wrong, they should always be praised for their contributions but explained that they are not correct i.e. ( that is a brilliant idea but not quite what I was thinking of, someone else have a go). All children are involved in producing their class charters and talk of ways to promote positive behaviour.
Good associations and strong collaborations between adults will encourage the good behaviour in children.
