Hi Everybody I’m here today because I’m running for school prefect. I’m up here today because my job is to try and persuade you to choose me as a prefect from Year 10. Now. For all those people here today that don’t know me, my name is Paras Agarwal. And to all those people that do know me you should feel privileged to. Now just a bit of information about me. Firstly, I support Manchester United . I enjoying hanging with mates and family and having a good time. My other interests include soccer, cricket and table tennis. I believe I have a number of good qualities such as honesty, respect, listening and leadership. I believe I’m also a generally good public speaker. I am well organised and I like to do tasks that I am given very quickly. I treat everyone equally and try my best to include everyone in activities. I enjoy helping others and setting a good example to other students. I like to try my best at anything and everything I do. I’m a polite and respectful student both to teachers and students. I like contributing to the school in any way possible. Ok. enough about me lets talk about why I would make a good school prefect. I believe I would make a good school captain because I’m not going to make any empty promises. I would work hard to make coming to school a safe and fun place to work and learn. I want to make the school a place to come too and have fun with friends as well as learn. I would also work hard in making sure everyone gets a say in what happens at the school. I understand the role of school prefect which requires effort, determination, the ability to lead and most importantly you must be ready to put the opinion of the school community before yours.
