Why Student Council is Important. There are many ways Student Council is important. Student Council helps students in more ways than you know. All of these families want more for their children but can only hope they can transfer their kids into a better school. There are many problems with the educational system and leaders taking place in this movie telling by the families. Teacher unions are crooked and tenure is not all that it may seem. If more people don't start taking stands as Michelle Rhee has done in these poverty stricken cities, education may drop even lower than it already has on the poll charts. The education system needs to make more time for these teens then just school work. The schools in China make the students feel alone when it comes to school work. It can help you with your interpersonal skills, i.e. discussions, input, and questions, and also open up doors on other ways to communicate easily with others. This is a good building block to improve communication skills. My practice here in team work will impact my work in the Human Services field in many ways. For instance, I want to use my degree to go into high school guidance counseling.
Unfortunately, 14 months into the position the unthinkable happened, I lost the position to lay off. EDUCATIONAL GOALS During the last two years of my unemployment, I returned to school for a Bachelor's in Business Management with a concentration in Management. The first goal when I returned to school was to finish in fewer than three years. Through hard work, perseverance, and doubling up on classes I will accomplish that goal in approximately 18 months. The next step for my education is to achieve an MBA.
